I think he was just too stupid to understand the Bob Stoops method of getting raises and extensions. Your just supposed to have your agent float your name out there for openings not actually accept them.

I don't know what he's getting paid now or what Arky offered him, but it seems like if he's asking to coach the Rose Bowl then there would've been some negotiation with Wisky to attempt to leverage a raise before he bailed. It'd be interesting to see if the whole Alvarez thing does tie in with this and Alvarez basically told him to get bent.

He just cashed in his "3x champs" fools gold before he stuck around the B1G too long and had a scUM program with a competent coach and a sanction-less Meyer led OSU show the world just how mediocre to bad he really is.
