Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

I know I really shouldn't be rooting for Walt, but ever since he was diagnosed with cancer I was on his side (maybe it's because it recently happened to one of my parents). I've really reached the point where I'm just more of a spectator enjoying the show. I just love the "Oh shit" moments that happen every episode and want plenty more of them. It's going to be interesting these last three because there just seems like there's so much left to unfold. Flynn has to find out about Walt, the relevance of New Hampshire, Walt with hair and beard from opener at Denny's with the gun. It's going to be hard to get it all done thoroughly.

Wow.. what an episode, while the whole series has been great, this last season has been so intense. Last nights ender was a one of those that really made me hate Vince Gilligan :) Can't wait til next week.

I don't know who's going to die, but I do remember one thing, Walts house is emptied, and Heisenberg is painted on the wall. I think Hank will live, find the money and Walt will have to go into hiding with Todd and company in a last ditch hope to make some money for his Family before he dies.

That episode was fucking nuts. I didn't think an episode could top the DVD episode, but they fucking did it. I want to speculate, but they've managed to make the show so unpredictable that I'm not even going to try.

Imagine what Jesse is thinking when he sees Todd's crew pull up. He's thinking "we finally got him" and then he realizes who he's dealing with - even though they were called off by Walt. Crazy. Walt always finds a way to be a step ahead, even when he doesn't know it.

Jesse is like a Cleveland sports fan. He said it last episode that Walt always seems to find a way out of things. He knew then not to get his hopes up and he tried to warn Hank and Gomie. But then, just as Hank was reading Walt the Miranda rights, he allowed himself to smirk and relax just a little as if somehow Walt could never get out of this one. Then it all falls apart for him again in the worst way possible. Just like a Cleveland fan. We know better than to get our hopes up but just when we let our guard down and get our hopes up (for even a split second)... disaster.

Agreed. I believe both Hank and Gomez are dead, or will be soon. I'm guessing that Walt is going to end up cooking again - against his wishes. He already agreed to one more cook, and that was just for killing Jesse. Now that they've killed two federal agents (or at least attempted to) and (you would assume) got him out of dea custody, they'll likely demand a little more than one cook from him - and maybe Jesse too......Maybe he kills todd's uncle with fumes. Gotta believe that scene in which todd's uncle refused to wear a mask had some relevence...... Maybe that's who walt is on the run from - todd and the remains of his crew.......

I'm going to guess outside the box that they all run out of bullets without hitting each other and decide to make peace with a fire and smores, telling campfire stories about the women they've loved and lost. Then they'll head to the local swimming pool where Todd will pretend to drown just so he can make out with the lifeguard, Wendy Peffercorn.

I had never thought of that possible ending but I'm really starting to believe you hit the nail on the head with him running from the neo nazis.

I wonder how Lydia fits into all of this.
She clearly has a soft spot for Walt and his talents. I don't think she would do anything to damage that relationship.

Right now, she's pretty much calling the shots with the Biker gang, but I wonder how long they're going to put up with her shit.

Lydia holds all the cards. She's the least expendable person for the operation and the Nazis know it. So long as she wants Walt alive, he stays alive.

Now it is possible that Walt could want Lydia dead, but that hasn't materialized yet.

I think Madrigal (the German company) comes in, cleans up, and starts from scratch with a new cook. It would show that, despite the dramatic series of events, the drug trade is much bigger and much more ruthless than Heisenberg, and he only had control over a portion of the US, while they have control over the world.
