Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

One other thing of note. It's something that I've seen/heard discussed...pink has been used to foreshadow death throughout the series. Jesse PINKman. I'm now nearly 100% convinced Jesse, one way or another, is going to have a hand in the death of Walter White.

Yellow, too. That yellow RC car is foreshadowing something outside Hank & Marie's house. Pretty much every time someone has died in this show, yellow was on/touching them at the moment they died.

I think they have a shot here to make Walter White go down as one of the best/worst villains in TV history. This season is [Hoke]ing phenomenal. My jaw was on the floor for half that episode. First, it was that video. Then it was Jesse's epiphany. I keep wondering how they keep making this show better and thinking it has to top out somewhere, but I'm done with that.. This group of writers is on point. Can't wait to see how everything ends. It could go a variety of ways.

They're trying their hardest to get us to stop rooting for Walt. It's hard to root for him now. At this point I just want him to end up being the baddest mother[Hoke]er in the history of fictional media when it's all said and done.
Yeah, it's astounding how this series really seems to be peaking as it winds down. These three episodes have been nothing short of jaw-dropping. I can't think of another series that built this much suspense towards an ending.

Agreed. That really is the best possible ending. Call it Jesse's Redemption.

Absolutely, but I can't help but feel that it will be mutual destruction. I'm thinking Jesse ends up exposed to the ricin as he takes out Walt.

Which means it will be the complete opposite. The more I work to try and guess the next twist, the further off I am. In my IMO, it's pretty damned remarkable to still be blind-siding people with things this far into a series.

Same thing with oranges. Apparently, it's a homage that Vince pays to the Godfather series.

As much as I hate that the show is reaching its end, it's really refreshing this day & age to see a show that doesn't deteriorate over the final 2 or 3 seasons. It seems like Gilligan had a clear vision from the beginning, and to his credit he didn't stray from it once it became as popular as it did. They could easily drag this out for a couple more seasons, but then it would be the latest in a long line of TV shows that stayed around too long.

As far as the 2nd half of last night's episode--when Jesse was looking in his pockets for his weed and realized something was missing, I thought he was realizing he didn't have his cell phone to use to call someone for help. I really thought Walt/Saul had set him up to be driven to the desert and killed. I was happy there was more to it than that when he looked at his pack of cigarettes and put it all together. It'll be interesting to see how next week's episode unfolds, because from what we know from the flash forward a couple episodes ago, Jesse doesn't burn the house down.

this is hands down the best series i have ever watched...nothing compares...i hate when people try to put the sopranos and the wire in the same category...its not even close...its pretty obvious to me that the house gets torched...from the opening scene the house is fenced off and the inside is in ruins...i have a feeling walt jr and possibly the baby are inside...just a hunch....i believe walt will kill jesse eventually but not with the ricin....i think that is for hank...the guns he has in his trunk, which we saw from the first episode of season 5, will be for a final battle with possibly the DEA...the way this show is tho i know i will be wrong on probably all of this...i am for certain on one thing...the last episode of this show will be nothing like the last episode of the sopranos...i think gilligan will make sure there is no questions to be answered from the final episode...walt will be dead its just a matter of how

I'm not looking at any of the posts as best as I can; just took the plunge for season 1, and I'm already hooked. Probably gonna binge through the first 3 seasons by the end of the week and hopefully be up to speed by the show's finale.

You're in for a ride. It just keeps getting better. Season 1 is the worst season in my opinion, and it's not even close. And I love season 1. Haha

#TeamWalt for life
He's playing chess and everyone else is playing checkers. He's the most captivating "evil genius" character on a TV series in sometime. Every time he's on screen, even when he is silent, your eye is drawn to him.
