I gotta say...I've been annoyed with Jesse's character without even knowing it. I understand they have to show how remorseful he is over what he's done, but it's been several shows now where he's just been a turd. It's nice to see pretty much the exact opposite.

I nearly forgot what Jesse's voice sounded like to be honest with the long layoff and his almost mute personality this season.

I don't understand how Walt paying for Hank's medical bills supports the "Confession" video. If Hank were really the mastermind behind the whole meth empire, wouldn't he have the money to pay his own bills? Doesn't make sense.

they money still came from drugs. it's not like it has Walt's name on it any more than it would have Hank's. if it can be traced back to drug sales, that shows that Hank benefited from it.

BTW, a testament to just how GREAT the character development in this series is, I have totally turned on Walt now and hope he meets an awful demise. In the beginning, I (and I think most) thought he did all of these terrible things for the love of his family, and to be sure they were cared for in the end. Now, it's becoming pretty clear that wasn't it...or, actually, it's been pretty clear. To me, he's done it all out of spite and bitterness. I think the manipulation of Jr. in this episode totally flipped me. He's a vile human being to the core. In "The Sopranos", Tony played the anti-hero...but you rooted for him until the end because you thought, deep down, he wasn't really a bad guy. Walter White is an evil man full of resentment. Plain and simple. I don't know how it's going to play out, but I hope Jesse ends him, one way or another.

One other thing of note. It's something that I've seen/heard discussed...pink has been used to foreshadow death throughout the series. Jesse PINKman. I'm now nearly 100% convinced Jesse, one way or another, is going to have a hand in the death of Walter White.

I think they have a shot here to make Walter White go down as one of the best/worst villains in TV history. This season is fucking phenomenal. My jaw was on the floor for half that episode. First, it was that video. Then it was Jesse's epiphany. I keep wondering how they keep making this show better and thinking it has to top out somewhere, but I'm done with that.. This group of writers is on point. Can't wait to see how everything ends. It could go a variety of ways.

They're trying their hardest to get us to stop rooting for Walt. It's hard to root for him now. At this point I just want him to end up being the baddest motherfucker in the history of fictional media when it's all said and done.

Agreed. That really is the best possible ending. Call it Jesse's Redemption.
