Ok, since we are having fun with this debate. Why not throw another wrinkle into it?

How about these ideas...

The old NFL fantasy keeper rule: Any keeper you keep you lose the round the player was drafted in (ie, if Pryor is kept bb36 loses his 1st round pick, and bb36 picks player X in round 18 and if he is kept bb36 loses his 18th round pick)

OR

(suggested via pm)A split the middle rule: And keepers you keep loses your even/odd round picks. ie if bb36 keeps both Pryor & Rainey he loses his 1st/3rd round pick or 2nd/4th round pick. Or for how many players you keep. So if you keep 9 players you lose your 1st/3/5/7/9/11/13/15/17 round picks. And if you keep more than 10, well. we can go down either way losing late round picks or turn around to lose early round picks.

This way you still get some early round picks, but just not as many.

EDIT: Time to get some work done... when I get Sparky's email I will be back.

I really like that idea.

I kind of like that too, but it seems to be knee jerk reaction to bb36 stealing next year's top talent with his first two picks this year.

I don't think so. BB36 is already in favor of losing top picks as the cost of keeping players, so he's going to lose his 1st and 2nd round picks for next year anyways if he wants to keep those guys.

Might have made a different pick if he was operating under a different rule.

Thanks einstein, I got that... I was simply pointing out he got who he wanted AND gets to keep his first round pick next year if the rule he is arguing against was put in place... I know thats not very ethical reasoning but it still gives him an advantage no matter how slight. Myself on the otherhand with that rule in place would have switched my picks so I would likely lose my second rounder only and not my first.

First, Tebow will be in Florida for 2 more years.
Second, I was thinking of the people who wasted their first round pick on somebody who will never start this year.

those people (person) are the ones arguing that they should lose their first round picks anyways so fuck em' no offense of course 36.

Yeah, I was hesitant to include that for that reason. But for fair disclosure just wanted to throw that out there. And I do realize that people might have picked differently if they knew that.
