Blood clot developed over the last 3 weeks or so that is now running from her left knee all the way to her stomach. Not being treated surgically at this point, but still scaring the [Mark May] out of me. :(

Started her on the heparin this afternoon. Just took some blood a little while ago to check the dosage and effectiveness of the first dose. Here's hoping that it's clearing the clot the way it should be.

If it's working right, min 2-3 day stay, maybe up to 4-5.......the fantastic news is that I'm only about $400 short of hitting her deductible for the year, so the goat-fuckers at MMO get to cover the rest. Sticking it to the man.

EDIT - just got test results...upping the dosage and will re-test in 8 hours....apparently just tweaking it up a smidgeon.
