am I the only one who thinks that it is highly hilarious that "All Mighty" "Unstoppable" Boise will likely be playing in the Macaroni And Cheese Bowl (Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl whatever it is) against what appears to be a low end Pac 10 team (maybe Washington?)....or an equally rinky dink ACC team if the Pac 10 cannot fill their bowl slots (cbs says Ga Tech rivals says Boston College)

Nope, not the only one, and it was hilarious when uttered by Jesse Palmer last night on the ABC round up post ND-USC.

Why? So they can play another half-assed BCS opponent and declare it equal to beating the '27 Yankees. I want Boise to play an irrelevant non-aq team (Fredo...come on down!) or play a BCS school that will plunger rape them.

Agreed, they should have to play MW or C-USA or something. Fuck them.

What will be interesting to see is that when Boisy gets some non-aq C-USA team in some bowl game nobody cares about, Boisy will be the disinterested and disappointed team this time around. They will be the team playing in a bowl that they didn't want to be in. They will be saying "what if" instead of their opponent. And they will be ripe for the upset the way Oklahoma was in that Fiesta Bowl.

It would surely be a great ending to this story in my imo...

I realize being an UGA fan you are required to hate Georgia Tech, but honestly, I think Georgia Tech's offense would wear Boise down. If Tech's defense doesn't fail spectacularly, I think Ga Tech can win that game and get over 400 yards of total rushing on them...
