Bitching about the 2004 Season

Sdgobucks,
Can't disagree with you at all there. Even though we as fans don't know the whole story as to why the offense has struggled as a whole through these past few years, it doesn't matter. The name of the game is WIN and production. If you can't produce then changes need to be made.

Dude, et hem osugrad21, I mean dude,
Your supposed to be so observant. Why the heck didn't you notice the clear signaling of the famous nosepicker formation on the sidelines by Snyder ... geeez and you call yourself a capo expert moderator geeezzz. Oh yea on 10/3 not 10/9 too. Maybe that defense was called then too but I didn't see it.

Note the sarcasm all throughout this post so I don't get flamed hahaha

Yeah I agree Mark Snyder might wanna think about the press box for real. The only thing they failed to do on 3rd down is use their common sense. I'm saying this because if you blitz, the ball comes out quicker, if we are in zone we are playing off? anyone get the concept here? I've said it time in and time out just alittle bump and run would help us alot.

I've said this several times before...he needs to get his ass up into the box so we can see just how we're getting chimp-spanked on third downs.

All that being said though, no matter what the game we are talking of, wouldn't it of been a much better performance for our Defense IF our offense had a complete game and the defense wasn't out there all day long?????? Yea they were getting caught overpursuing (dunno if thats the right word but you get the idea) on those screens on more than one occasion but OSU's got more problems on the Offensive side of the ball. They need to help the defense in the long run by keeping them off the field and refreshed when needed.

I'm really sorry that I offended "Da-Bucks" with my not so "clever" play on his moniker. What a fucking crybaby. What kind of douchebag is it that would come onto a site like this and make a statement that this team is not "top 40." Once again moron, I challenge you to start listing the 39 that are better. In the words of the late, great Rodney Dangerfield in "Caddyshack", "Well, We're Waiting."

the cold reality? all run plays and no blocking make OSU's offense a dull plan.

Kids develop differently at the college level and alot of it is dependent on the type of offensive system that a team runs and with OSU we run a very conservative offense which in reality stunts a players growth in some cases.

We have the talent, we need a good game plan to go with it to maximize our talent.

Frankly, because they are hamstrung by an ineffective gameplan.

We need to make some changes NOW
Couldnt agree more DA

Alot of our problems so far this year can be summed up in just three things....

1. Youth
2. Execution
3. game planning

At times our execution has been pathetic on offense, our game planning is questionable at times and the youth factor has cost us a few big plays so far this season that could have changed games.
