Yes yes, that was my fault, in no way I am trying to say that this site is gay. The whole point was that, with SO many possible website designs to use, they had to use the exact same portal.

I tend to use the word gay in place of "simple" or "easy". Guess I should watch my use of the word gay.

Ah, no worries there. No one is getting banned from here. And the simple fact that we can all discuss this, even where we disagree, shows that the whole scenario is elevated above any of the Bucknuts nonsense. Will some people 'leave' BP for SGN? Sure. But people leave sites every day for a thousand different reasons, that's not a big deal, because new people come in at the same time, and at a higher rate. BP's value to people isn't relative to any other site, so I can't really be all that threatened by them.

Honestly, I'm pretty encouraged by most of this thread. With only a couple exceptions, the whole thing is pretty balanced and reasonable. We can discuss difficult things, without it turning into a flamefest. That's pretty cool.

We'll all get past this and be better for it, and that's a good thing.

exactly what i was thinking...why cant people enjoy both sites? There are a ton of people on here that cant afford 7 bucks a month.....but there are some that can.....

its just a reality check folks.....you cant get the BEST info/photos/videos without someone being able to be there to report it...

honestly, i should not have to feel like i need to apologize for charging money....how many of you will spend 20 plus hours in a day getting information to be read.....without getting a penny?

Alan, I don't think this is about you charging money for the info. Personally, I'd be living a dream if I could be getting paid money to run an OSU website like you're about to do. Everyone seems to be upset about the BP copy. It just seemed y'all took a bad approach, that's all.

actually, given your amazing one-time offer of 50 bucks a year, down from the regular "price" of 77 bucks, it comes to 5 bucks a month, not 7. Unless, that special offer is just a sham...which really woudln't surprise me.

Hey....mistakes get made and misunderstandings occour.......i challenge the poster to say that the SGN content is in the same area code as BP now?

I asked that a little time be given and some great differences happened...this will continue....

i wasn't saying that anyone is gonna get banned... i was referring to the sense of family and comraderie that went with the old guard from BN who came over here when this site was just taking off and all the BS was going on on BN... it's like there's a break or a schism in the family... oh well... such is life i guess...
