Penn State showed no emotion in their game and it looked like there were not many people in the stands. It is too bad that they had to lose Claxton and then their coach lost his mother in the few days ago. Said situation at PSU.

The Purdue/Wisconsin game today should be very interesting. It will be a big test for the Boilers and give a good read as to how good they really are.

Yeah that is a big game...I was just coming to post about it actually...

Indiana's game against UCONN is a game that is big for the big ten as a conference...

It is a game that we should win especially with it being at Indiana...

Purdue 60, No. 11 Wisconsin 56 -- Purdue coach Matt Painter often downplays wins. Not this time.

After Purdue's victory over Wisconsin yesterday in West Lafayette, Ind., Painter was straightforward about the long-term implications it could have.

Iowa 64, Penn State 49 -- Jeff Peterson scored 19 points and Iowa (10-11, 3-5) beat Penn State (10-9, 2-5) in Iowa City, Iowa.

In all candor, this is the worst I have seen the B11 in a long time. The league deserves no more than 4 Dance cards this season; Buckeyes and Boilers will be fighting for the final spot IMO.
You may be right but I think we won't know if there will be 4 or 5 until after the Big 10 tournament. Unlike other years, we had some idea before the tournament.

Ok so just taking a look at the top 5 and the games that they all have left. I understand that the home team won't win all these games, and there will be some upsets at some point from teams not in the top 5, but here is what I am going with right now...I also count @ Ill and @ Minny to be semi tough games because they are tough places to play...

Indiana (6-0) Projected 15-3

L - Jan 31st @ Wisky
W - Feb 7th @ Ill
L - Feb 10th @ tOSU
W - Feb 13th vs Wisky
W - Feb 16th vs MSUW - Feb 19th vs Purdue
W - Feb 23rd vs tOSU
L - Feb 26th @ MSU

MSU (5-1) Projected 13-5

L - Feb 12th @ Purdue
L - Feb 16th @ IU
L - Feb 28th @ Wisky
W - Mar 2nd vs IU
W - Mar 4th @ Ill
L - Mar 9th @ tOSU

Purdue (6-1) Projected 14-4

W - Feb 2nd @ Ill
L - Feb 9th @ Wisky
W - Feb 12th vs MSU
L - Feb 19th @ IU
L - Mar 4th @ tOSU

Wisconsin (6-1) Project 15-3

W - Jan 31st vs IU
W - Feb 3rd @ Minny
W - Feb 9th vs Purdue
L - Feb 13th @ IU
W - Feb 20th @ Ill
L - Feb 24th @ tOSU
W - Feb 28th vs MSU

tOSU (5-2) Projected (15-3)

W - Feb 10th vs IU
W - Feb 24th vs Wisky
L - Feb 26th @ IU
W - Mar 1st @ Minny
W - Mar 4th vs Purdue
W - Mar 9th vs MSU

This is why I say it is a 5 team race...all teams have to still play each other quite a bit and so far the home teams have looked good so far in conference play...I will try and keep this updated from week to week...
