This echoes what a lot of us have been saying....

Top 10 Greatest Rivalries in Notre Dame Football History

1. USC Trojans
2. Michigan Wolverines
3. Michigan State Spartans
6. Purdue Boilermakers
7. Stanford Cardinal
10. Penn State Nittany Lions

Just throwing this out there: If the B1G does pick up teams like USC and Stanford, do you think that might swing Notre Dame to the B1G since the B1G would then have 6 of their 10 biggest rival schools?

Only way the Pac 12 makes sense is it we can literally add 6 schools. This way maybe we can have the 10 most western schools and the 10 most eastern schools in their own division.

So something like...

West division: USC, Oregon, Washington, Stanford, Cal, Nebraska, Minnesota, Colorado, Iowa and Wisconsin.

East division: Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, North Western, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland and Purdue.

Move to a 10 game conference schedule while playing 2 BS games per year. We'd no doubt have to cancel our Texas/ND/UGA/Alabama series but with super conferences on the horizon that's inevitable anyways. Even if we went to a straight 12 game conference schedule with 2 cross over games that'd be fine but I'd think it'd be nice to have at least 2 gimme games a year?

Why not three divisions. Two highest rated division champs play for the championship.

East becomes B1G--Atlantic. West becomes B1G--Great Lakes. B1G--Pacific: USC, UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Colorado.
