Game Thread BCS Championship Game, tOSU vs. Florida - Jan 8th

DDN

OHIO STATE | FLORIDA
Young prospects benefit from extra practice

Many get a head start on filling holes for OSU next season.

As good as University of Florida freshman quarterback Tim Tebow has been this season (430 yards and 7 TDs rushing, 357 yards and 4 TDs passing), Gators offensive coordinator Dan Mullen thinks he'll be better soon.
"This bowl practice is a tremendous advantage for him, it's just more practice," Mullen said. "It's that way for everyone."

I know this belongs in the "yao" thread but, has anyone really thought about the impact of possibly not having our #2 corner?:smash:

He still might play, but not @ 100%. :frown2:

If tOSU was looking at UF possibly missing their #2 corner I think Troy would be salivating as would Gonzo, Robo and Hartline. It goes both ways and this concerns me, Chris Leak isn't Troy Smith but he's gotta be looking to go after D. Washington.

That changes the complexion of the game quite a bit.

Any thoughts?

One bozo's take about the distraction that "Spaghettigate" will/could have on the Buckeyes' focus for 1/8. He also tries to drum up reasons as to why (in his opinion) the public is starting to sway towards Florida over tOSU, and why tOSU might have a let-down.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts...
This guy is reaching so much I think his arm may have come out of socket...

I read that also and I have to say that might be one of the dumbest things I have ever read.

Im so tired of people saying that since UF shut down the Arkansas running backs they wont have a problem with Ohio States.

Dick or Smith.

Ill take Smith.

Arkansas has absolutely no balance and was I think 107th in the nation in passing offense.

The media is also trying to make it look like tOSU will have a let-down, more than anything tho, that's just them trying to sell the game. Let the Fla fans have their hope, we'll take our National Championship :)

Wow that's quite a departure from most programs where the coaches think their players will get worse...

Do they hand out lobotomies with journalism diplomas?

I honestly think Blackledge is the worst.

Did anyone hear why he thinks the Gator D plays really well against Troy Smith?

It was something about how he played on a team facing a Heisman winner, and they played really hard (but lost.)

Are you fucking serious.
