It was an all-around disappointing week. The Bengals hit rock bottom. Rose Bowl officials refused to penalize USC's taunting fool, Dwayne Jarrett. And Bob Knight actually made us like him by showing some emotion.

Ohio State, Florida boast strong, money-making athletic departments

During the summer, the University of Florida football team held what it termed Champions Day in Gainesville. As part of the program, coach Urban Meyer ordered a 20-minute video with clips from the 1996 national title-winning Gators, the Miami Heat, the Pittsburgh Steelers and other championship teams.

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel always has said he wants an offense that opponents can't pigeonhole, one that could run between the tackles and still spread the field with multiple receivers. And with Heisman Trophy-winner Troy Smith at quarterback and ample talent at the skill positions, the Buckeyes have kept foes guessing all season.
