Game Thread BCS Championship Game, tOSU vs. Florida - Jan 8th

Jarvis Moss is a VERY good DE. Just a missed assignment by Boone on that play. I knew this UF defense was good, but they're amazing to watch tonight.
They showed a blitz to the middle, and Boone moved over to help against that. The blitzer backed off into coverage and Boone didn't adjust. I wonder what we could have done if we were in sync.

No matter the outcome of this football game, I want to give big props to the tOSU defensive staff and defense for making a big adjustment there in the 3rd Q. 4 stops. Very nice.

What was up w/ that throw by Troy? What in the world is wrong w/ him to day?

I don't know for sure but watching his throwing motion during warm-ups it just looked different. I hope his shoulder is not injured. He is having a bad game but heck the whole team is and UF has something to do to it.

There's a thread on the NIU about Jim Delaney (Big Ten Commisioner).

Maybe this will help wake him (and everyone else) up. Essentially, Jim pulls all the strings associated with the BCS, not just the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes look like a team that has been off for 50 days. This is due to stupid Big Ten scheduling (Jim Delaney, are you listening) that always finishes before Thanksgiving coupled with extending the BCS Championship game (yoo hoo Jim) into the second week of January. Way to screw your own conference Delaney!!

It's a shame too. Ohio State was clearly the better team all year and they're getting destroyed. Oh well, it's why they play the game I guess. Major upsets and somewhat undeserving national champions happen in the NCAA basketball tournament all the time but for some reason it just doesn't feel as right in football.
