I'm pissed of course by the offense.......but also at Heacock. To see the short slnt passes all game in from of the LBs and not getting out of the cover 2 or zone D is just mindboggling...

G-Force, I agree with you about this layoff.
well 1. The layoff seems to made the D hesitant in the first half and it was obvious the Bucks were sluggish. 2. It doesn't look like OSU did anything with the time off, so credit to the Gators for their absolutely stellar playcalling and gameplanning. The Bucks on the other hand...I just don't know :(. I really wanted this National Championship, I guess it goes to show how rare they are. Maybe the '02 will be the only in my lifetime...I'm young and it seems very very unlikely but even I'm becoming aware (after tonight) of just how tough they are.

Few things I noted for this game (and no I'm not watching it right now, I don't need too)
Florida didn't beat Ohio State because of their speed. They beat Ohio State because they took Ohio State's MANHOOD. They slapped Ohio State right in the mouth and didn't stop doing it yet.
Ohio State's offensive gameplan looked atrocious to me. Sure defensive pressure was a killer and losing Teddy didn't help, but Pittman might have 10 rushes in this game. Ohio State did absolutely nothing to counter the Florida pass rush.
That underneath crossing route wasn't accounted for until the 4th quarter.
