Booster cat is unsure...
Yes, but doesn't booster cat have to hold a conversation with a recruit with the intent to persuade that recruit to attend the program for it to be a violation? I think if booster cat just wanted to have a tummy rub, kill a bird, chase laser dots with the recruit then they are treated like any old random cat? Kind of how the Alabama booster can take Julio Jones and whoever on a fishing trip, as long as he's not saying those recruits should go to Alabama.

Fuck if I know.

[censored] if I know.

I don't know.

I just seized the opportunity to post a picture of a cat wearing Buckeye gear.

Epitropoulos eyes return to postseason form
By PAUL BATTERSON
ThisWeek Community News Wednesday May 16, 2012

Frank Epitropoulos of the Upper Arlington High School boys track and field team knows his performance in the OCC-Central Division meet May 10 and 12 at Hilliard Davidson was far from his best.

But for the senior long jumper, it was a step in the right direction.

Epitropoulos jumped 20 feet, 4 inches to finish first, ahead of Davidson's Chris Harris (20-1 1/2). The performance was the only first-place finish for the Golden Bears.

UA scored 52 points in the league meet to finish fifth, behind Davidson (170.5), Dublin Coffman (146), Thomas Worthington (115.5) and Hilliard Darby (80) and ahead of Central Crossing (35), Worthington Kilbourne (35) and Westland (25).

"The jumps weren't that great," Epitropoulos said. "There were only two in the 20-feet range, but I think it gives me a little bit of confidence in the long jump."

Since spraining an ankle in the Stingel Invitational on April 7 at Pickerington North, Epitropoulos has been trying to return to postseason form.

He just missed qualifying for the Division I state meet last year, placing fifth in the long jump (21-8) at regional as Canal Winchester's Antonio Whitfield (21-8 1/4) secured the fourth and final state berth.

"I'm always keeping that (1/4 of an inch) in the back of my head," Epitropoulos said. "I have been putting a little extra time into the long jump and hopefully I can make up for that quarter of an inch this year."

"He's not where he thought he would (be because of the injury), but he's just getting back into it now," coach Dale Hartney said. "Obviously, he trusts his ankle again because he's going 20 feet."

Entrance Exam: F. Epitropoulos
Wide receiver follows family footsteps into scarlet and gray
Updated: September 3, 2012
By Brad Bournival | BuckeyeNation

Entrance Exam is a series at BuckeyeNation where we chat with incoming freshmen in Ohio State athletics.

Being a legacy, Frank Epitropoulos knew where he wanted to go early, so when he gave his commitment to the Buckeyes in the midst of the turmoil at Ohio State in April 2011 it wasn't that much of a surprise.

Epitropoulos is the son of John, who played for the Buckeyes as an offensive lineman from 1978-80. Frank's uncle, Ernie, also played for Ohio State and his mother, Alice, is an Ohio State graduate as well.

He turned down interest from Michigan State, Wisconsin and Stanford to become a Buckeye. Epitropoulos' love for Ohio State goes back as he remembers sitting in Sun Devil Stadium and watching the Buckeyes beat Miami in double overtime to win a national championship.

A jack-of-all-trades player for Upper Arlington last year, Epitropoulos was a three-year starter at wide receiver, defensive back and punter.

A two-time second-team Division I All-Ohio selection as a punter, Epitropoulos averaged 42.2 per kick as a junior and 39.2 as a senior.

As a wide receiver, where he'll play for the Buckeyes, he finished his senior season with 25 catches for 459 yards and logged seven touchdowns despite the fact he missed four games.

As a junior he caught 29 passes for 490 yards and added five touchdowns.

He plans on majoring in pre-exercise science.

BN: Any advice your dad has been able to give you about being an Ohio State football player?

Epitropoulos: He told me to just go out there every day and give it your all. That's pretty much what he has always told me.

The Buckeyes need a punter, with Ben Buchanan graduating. The best possible option on the current roster is Frank Epitropoulos, who redshirted last year with an injury. He was recruited as a receiver by Luke Fickell’s staff but also punted in high school, and the receiver position just got a lot more crowded. But asked about Epitropoulos as a punting option Wednesday, Meyer said, “He’s been hurt since he’s been here, so I don’t know.”

As for whether some outside punting help may be coming, Meyer said: “It’s just a complicated thing right now. It’s a concern.”

So could Townsend still come aboard? Or is the Class of 2013 complete?

“Maybe,” Meyer said with a smile.
