Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Anyone thinking that the Bama dynasty was approaching an end is sorely mistaken. I don't think that they're close, especially eith having Tua for at least 2 more years. And their skill position, OL and defense will keep being elite. Hurts has a hard decision to make on his future, because this was the last game that he'll start at Bama barringinjury

Obviously, it should just be a four team sec tournament.
NO... Here's what I think will happen.

They'll reduce it to 2 teams ala the BCS championship model....

They'll have Alabama as one of the spots then here's where it gets weird.

A native man will blow into a Horn and the following happens...

Ohio State's best players come out of the Plains of the Midwest full steam toward the field of battle. Georgia's best players rise out from the Atlantic Ocean with a Roar and stride toward the field. Clemson not to be outdone sends their best players to the game as well. A great rumbling happens and Oklahoma, USC, Texas, LSU, and Finally Mercer's best players gather to Wagon Ride their asses to the field as well.

THEN BY YOUR POWERS COMBINED... They form a super team and play Alabama.

Alabama is losing at the half 55-0 and Nick isn't happy at all.... NO NO NO this isn't how it ends! NO!

Nick then makes the switch that changes the game and eternity.. The place holder.

"Scott, take a seat!" Nick Bellows "WE HAVE A GAME TO WIN".

The Strength coach not to be outdone Slams a sack of grapefruit on the locker room floor. No one really knows why but it happens so just ROLL with it.

The mighty Alabama Crimson Tide take the field in the 2nd half rejuvenated and win the game 56-55 for their 6th title in 10 years.

BOOM.

I think that only applies if Bama doesn't win the SEC, let's hope they do next season because they're getting a bid regardless. Otherwise, we're left fighting for one of two at-large spots.
I never felt afraid until you said this... You're right.

We better all pray Alabama wins the SEC every year until Nick is gone because if they don't they'll be given the a spot regardless. Alabama isn't losing 2 games during the regular season so we better just hope they don't lose the SEC or it'll be at someone's expense (like it was at ours this year)

What happened last night was the "worse case scenario". A disaster of epic proportions.
Clearly, this selection committee and ESPN are not good for college football.
Perhaps next year's committee will be better but I wouldn't bet on it.
