Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

As always, there's a very fine line between truth/sarcasm. But, how shall I say, current events, have put 'bama on the map. And folks from 'bama must be soooo proud!

Interesting Alabama's fate in both instances is gonna be decided by a vote. One by committee. One by Alabama voters. Trying to figure out which one is the bigger crap shoot!

"We" Kemosabe ?!? Extenuating circumstances aside, "At some point, we got to stop looking like idiots to the nation,” Barkley told a crowd of about 550 at a rally for Democratic candidate Doug Jones, Moore’s opponent.

So, if 'bama can elect a Dem senator, does Georgia have a chance in the Crimson Tide invitational er CF Playoffs?

White Evangelicals Voted En Masse For Roy Moore In Alabama, To No One's Surprise
Exit polls suggest 80 percent of white Christians who self-identified as born-again or evangelical voted for Moore.
Keep hope alive as the South will rise again ...

>

The stars aligned for Jones, much like they did for Trump. Shit happens!

A shout-out to the 23k write-ins who showed up just to vote against Moore and Jones. Alabamians can now turn their attention to what's really important ~ college football!

What I find amusing is that the majority of those 23,000 probably voted for a Football Coach... and they're smarter than 48% of the State. Still, it was a win for decency on the Right at least. I'd happily vote for Kasich or Rand Paul over some on the left... but geez... recent track record for candidate selection is off the deep end.

Nick Saban got third. He got the most votes of any write in. I’m not joking.

Weak as fuck. If he really meant it he would've gone off the top rope and elbowed it through the table. Maybe he'll get another shot at one this summer.
