The students are always there, and there would be more if possible. But it's the alumni who aren't willing to drive to downtown LA unless it's a big event. Sad but true.

There are a ton of die-hard fans that just can't afford tickets. I should know, I'm one of them. I go to games whenever I can get some off of the season-ticket holders that don't want to go each week though :!

This thread is about celebrating the demotion of the former Son of God to mere mortal. Speak on this, USC fan!

Tebow is a good guy and I don't fault him for his competitiveness

He does have 2 national championships and a heisman in his career though, when you put it into perspective he's won more then his share of games. It's nice to see another team get the opportunity to be a champion

I certainly don't fault Tebow for his competitiveness, and he seems like a nice enough guy I suppose. But I certainly can't pretend that I'm not absolutely overjoyed to see him fail.
I'm just glad that the idolizing beyond making me barf fawning will come to a temporary stop. I have no problem with Tebow himself as I don't know the guy personally but from what I have seen on TV he is a nice enough guy. I think more of you are just pissed off at the media and their perception of him rather than Tebow himself.

The best part was TT tried to do his Hulkamania routine after getting hit on the drive in the 2nd quarter and instead of getting intimidated by all the Hulkamaniacs, the ripped tee shirt or the pythons, Bama just stepped up and punched them right back in the mouth.

Words simply cannot express how happy I am these jort wearing mouthy mother fuckers are devastated tonight and the joy I got from watching Tebow bawl in the arms of another man.

I don't give a rats ass if he's a good guy and the media made us all hate him, I'm sure there are a few members of the taliban who are very pious and well mannered young men when they aren't trying to kill us. Fuck them and fuck Tebow to.

Hard to root for Mr. Perfect. He complained about girls taking their shirts off around him.

You don't have to root for him. But you guys make it seem as if he personally punched you in the gut. He hasn't done shit to you.

And for a guy who grew up in lockdown sheltered mode, getting uncomfortable when some Gainesville skank takes off her top is not unruly.

You can't be serious. I'm enjoying that Florida lost, and that Tebow is not going to win the Heisman. But that's all that really happened... you guys are unintentionally building upon what pisses you off about the guy.

I mean, I for one will say that I'm ecstatic that Florida lost. First off, they have some of the worst fans (sorry, Gator). They think they're the king of the world because they've had a great season. Yes, they've got an amazing program, but so do a lot of other schools. Ask them who is a better program all-time, Florida and Nebraska, and I'd bet a decent percentage of Florida fans will say Florida.

Also, I like watching the national championship game with sound on, personally. I don't dislike Tebow.
HE IS A GOOD PERSON.
A lot of people in college football are though!! It would piss me off to no end to have, say, Tebow vs Colt, and all they can talk about is how great Tebow is. Yeah, he's a good guy. So is Colt McCoy! He saved a guy's life! How many people know about that? Not that many, because the media can't afford to give him credit, because they have Tebow's dick in their collective mouth.

But that's the media's fault, not Tebow's. So I'm happy Florida lost, but don't blame Tebow for the media's lovefest.
