(6) THE Ohio State vs. (11) Dayton, Thurs 3/20, 12:15p ET, CBS

You're talking about a pre O'Brien era which was a long long time ago.

And your point is what, exactly? That the current generation of fans are spoiled, myself included? I agree. That was my point, too.

(I'm talking about pre-Randy Ayers, actually. And no, there weren't dinosaurs roaming the planet then)

You're talking like those things shouldn't be expected. It's not about getting there. Its all about winning.

You're talking like some kid who saw the Buckeyes win a title when he was 8 and thinks he's entitled to one every few years.

You made it sound like OSU's success in basketball came over night, when it took many many years to build this program to become a perennial B1G and national contender. I don't think we are spoiled at all. Most of us were grounded at the fact that OSU was not going to go very far this year.

Just looked at the box score ... Amir 0 points??? Tough to win when you get nothing from the center position.

Even worse to me was ONE offensive rebound. We don't run a lot of plays for him but for crying out loud be aggressive and hit the boards. He's certainly got the size and he doesn't play outside the arc. To only get one rebound is timid play, supported by also only having committed one foul - soft as hell today.

You're so spoiled you don't even realize it. "Many many years" in your mind is about 6 or 7, given your portrayal of the 1990s as the dark ages.

That was just the 2nd time this season Amir put up a goose-egg. I thought it was more than that. He hasn't managed double digits since Feb 4, though. Basically, he's an offensive black hole at the 1. Teams can get by with that if they have other scorers. Other than LaQ (who is still streaky), tOSU had none with any consistency. Hopefully some of the new guys next year can help.

Even worse was that he was playing so bad that we couldn't even put him on the floor leading to our best scorer being out of position.

And on that one foul he looked like he was embarrassed that he even made contact with the guy.
