Looking at everyone's stats it looks the strategy is to throw deep often. Am I the only one with a 100 yard rusher?

My OL literally fall flat on their face when I call a run play.

Cal's defense did not cover deep balls at all. Only problem was passes just bounce off the receivers hands.

Nope. I tried to run against ND and couldnt get it going. In the game that froze, I had about 70 yards with my RB in the 4th.

The game that I finished, I think he ended up with 36 yards, on 21 carries with a long of 17  So yeah, I run, it just doesn't always work out

Wow, so what an exciting first game for Wayne Kerr. It was a nail biter going back and forth the entire game. One team would get the lead, and the other would tie it up, or re-take the lead.

I hate how I tried to save highlights, but about 3/4 of the plays I wanted to save said "There's no replay available" :(

Here's the box score:

The CPU was very good at throwing the short passes underneath my zone. I started blitzing, and finally got a few sacks which caused a few stops on Defense. But I couldn't pull away, as the run game against ND just killed my offensive momentum. I could only pass. Here's some videos of the game:

Nice throw for TD

Nice diving catch

I was up 10 about 15 seconds before this. And after this TD I was down 3  I gave up a FG, and very quickly did this (I thought I would have them bite on another pump fake/streak to no avail:
Losing the lead

Held ND to a FG in the 3rd OT, and 1st play for Arizona's offense in the 3rd OT and this happens:
Game Winning TD in the 3rd OT (my QB gets absolutely ROCKED as I throw it)

My QB threw for 8 touchdowns, and threw 4 picks  I should have won in the 2nd OT. I had them 4th and 10 and they torch me for a TD pass.

1st game in the books... Played like horse shit. QB is out for a week, RB out for the game. East Carolina plays like they are fucking LSU.... Nothing to see here...

ECU 42
Wake 31

Obviously, I have some fucking work to do.

Also, was unaware of the restarts.... How many of those do we get a game?

Fans must have been rolling their eyes at what seemed like yet another sub-par season for Bowling Green. Coming into the games as heavy underdogs expectations weren't exactly sky high. Then watching helplessly as the initial drive seemed promising only to be spoiled by a fumble on a halfback iso inside the opponents 10 yard line set a less than stellar mood. Navy drove right down the field to score the games first touchdown and the Falcon QB promptly gave the ball right back to the midshipmen on a deep throw across the middle that would never reach its intended target. Fans clad in orange already had hung their heads. Like any good story thats when the game shifted. Bowling Green's defense decided enough was enough and shutdown the Navy offense on a 3 and out. After a stirring sideline speech by that one notable BG alumnus, the offense decided it wanted to get involved as well.

Despite the teams top receiver and top tailback both getting knocked out of the game in the first quarter Boss Coach's boys never flinched reeling off 31 unanswered points giving those downtrodden fans something to clamor about. The final score doesnt even do the domination that took place here justice. the feared rushing attack offered up by Navy netted only 48 yards and most of that was on the initial scoring drive. The majority of the game was pure defensive domination. Going the other direction BG was led by a three headed monster of backup runningback J. Martin (21 carries, 102 yards, 2 TDs) QB M. Shilz (20 for 24 attempts gaining 222 yards and 2 TDs) and backup wide reciever S. Joplin (11 catches, 102 yards, 2TDs)

Deserving of its own paragraph is by far the most impressive and telling stat of the game. Boss Coaches' boys went a PERFECT 10 for 10 on third downs and never punted. That is a fact that as the game goes on cant help but to demoralize an opponent.

Nice of you to show up.

As for restarts, those are game freezing, internet, power, etc issues during the game. The game also reports more restarts than the actual number. I had to restart once and it shows 2. Mac had one, and it shows 3.

Technically you are not supposed to restart, but stuff happens. Especially with a game that has bugs.
