360 NCAA13 Online Dynasty V is live!!!

We can also decide to wait a year before making it more realistic. I just see an overload of poachable recruits in the top-100. Heck there are a handful of 5-stars with no offers.

I must really suck at this game. Before my game froze at halftime, I was 3-3 with UCF. They were running over me like they were playing a Pop Warner team. I hadn't gotten in the same zip code as their QB. He has about 7 seconds to throw on every play, and he doesn't miss by more than an eyelash on his throws.

That's one thing I've been getting ticked about as well. The computer gets phenomenal blocking. The computer rushes 4 and still get quick pressure on the user.

Kinda [censored]ed that the OD site seems to have dumped my highlight vids and photos after I finished editing my story.... Anyway.... Here it is.

The heavily favored Nebraska Cornhuskers arrived in Boulder, CO with a confident swagger. The Buffalo's fans who filed into Folsom Stadium were unsure of what to expect in Coach Montgomery's first game as Head Coach of a much maligned Colorado University football program that had by and largely floundered since the days of Coach McCartney and two straight visits to the National Championship versus the Golden Domers of Notre Dame. Days long past the Miracle in Michigan. Players like Kordell Stewart and Eric Bienemy long gone. After the carousel that had seen McCartney suddenly retire, Neuheisel leave amidst NCAA violations, Callahan leave amidst a sexism scandal where he gave a female kicker the boot, Coach Hawkins left once the University and most of it's fans realized they hired the wrong coach from Boise, then the sudden resignation of Coach Embree. Enter Coach Montgomery. He stated in his opening remarks of his introductory press conference that the Buffs "will be a team to be respected and feared in the Pac 12, and would be studious and committed to excellence in the classroom. We are going to be a lot of fun to watch!" But could they win?

In the early goings on, however, it appeared as though the Husker swagger was warranted, the Blackshirts stopping the Buffs first drive, and then on the first play on offense, Husker running back Ameer Abdullah torched the Buffs for a 72 yard touchdown run that had everyone on the Colorado sideline shaking their heads and rolling their eyes. Then an interception on third and long of Colorado's next possession led to a Husker field goal and a 10-0 lead for Nebraska.
Then something happened. On another third and long for Colorado, WR Dustin Ebner caught a Nebraska Safety flat footed and outran the defense 82 yards for Colorado's first score of the year. For the first time in as long as many fans can remember, Colorado's sideline erupted as though they realized, "hey, we can play!"

The Buffs added two more touchdowns in the second quarter, book ending a feild goal by the Huskers. The Huskers weren't ready to roll over, adding a touchdown of their own with just three seconds left in the half. Rex Burkhead opened the third quarter by breaking 4 tackles and then outrunning everyone 77 yards to the endzone to give the huskers another lead. Here was another catalyzing moment for the men in black, The Buffs answered the bell and steadily drove the ball right back down the field to regain the lead. This was a lead the Colorado Buffalos would not relinquish as they extended the lead even further with another TD. A late safety all but iced the game as the Buff?s put the ball on the ground for the remainder of the game.

A couple of telling stats in this game belonged to the Buff?s secondary and pass rush. The Corhuskers were only able to gain 96 yards through the air and their QB?s were picked off twice. Taylor Martinez was in and out of the game as the Buffalos punished him every time he tried to run and sacked him 4 times. Huskers backup, Sophmore Brion Carnes was also sacked a couple of times as well. CU defensive end Juda Parker led the charge with three sacks, including one for a Safety.

Next up for the Buffaloes is The Rocky Mountain Showdown versus in state rival Colorado State. If the Buffs can win this one, there will be some big smiles 30 minutes outside of the Mile High City.

Its obvious some people know all of the tricks and glitches to exploit, hanging half a hunnerd on a team of equal skill? Beating Nebraska?

Yeah. This is going to be a long season.

UCF is one of those teams I was talking about. I had issues stopping them with Ohio State. There are just certain teams the computer uses well.

Mind you, the sliders were not set until last week and don't take effect until the following week. So I think JWins played with default sliders. Although I did beat MSU 66-0 with similar sliders to what we have now. Sometimes the AI just acts stupid.

Well Scooter, this is supposed to be a sim league, and that is how I play, even against the CPU. I do not have any specific bread and butter plays, and my game went back and forth as it traditionally does in that rivalry. The CPU busted two runs in excess of 70 yards, but I was also able to move the ball....

I am not the best player in the world, but some of my true life football experience helps out in games these days because I understand how to read my opponents. It isn't a unique skill as many people also know how to make football reads, but it may make up for my deficiencies on the sticks... I have also been playing the NCAA series as long as I can remember....

Even if you lose games, just try to have fun in this league. I havent won any national championships in this league, and might not ever. But I still enjoy the competition and I look forward to having fun in this years game.
