*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

For posterity

Never let them forget this. Ever.
Canceling on Dec 8 meant football activities in Ann Arbor should have paused until Dec 15 at the earliest. So one of the following statements must be true, and the other must be false:

  • Michigan ignored guidance from medical experts, health department officials, university administration and broke conference pandemic protocol, putting its players, coaches and football staffers at risk.
  • A 30-point underdog used COVID as a cover to avoid being embarrassed again by its arch rival.

I don't wanna see one more sentence about cheating or signs or anything of the sort

We just lost to a make-a-wish QB at home

Time to own our shit
THIS!
I could care less what punishment, if any they get at this point. OSU could only score 10pts, against one of the worst scUM teams in years.

It's not binary. I can be disgusted at what happened (and why it happened) on Saturday and still wait for the LOIC sanctions to hit like Ralphie waiting to unwrap that bb gun and thoroughly enjoy the day. They're not incompatible.

It doesn't matter what the committee does to Michigan...at all. They can take away every fucking victory they had from 2021 thru 2023 (not just vacate, take away) including their three B1G titles and the 2023 national title. That still doesn't negate the total bullshit we had to endure Saturday. That loss was the worst one--maybe aside from the 1969 loss--that I've had to ever endure to them. We scored only half the total points in the game (10) that we were supposed to trounce them by (20). They had no business even being on the field with us at the start, and we ended up proving the exact opposite.

For over a year we thumped our chests and said Just Wait! The plan was to beat them on the field and use the penalties to kick them while they were down.

That didn't work out.

They beat us Saturday - doesn't matter why.

I no longer have an argument that they weren't the better team last year - cheating or no.

So let them keep their banner and their wins. I no longer give a shit.

At the end of this season I expect OSU to have one of two things. A Championiship trophy - or a new Head Coach.

Where did I say the cheating negated what happened Saturday? I specifically said I was disgusted by it and not just disgusted at losing to that broken down team but the how and why of the loss. My point is that the loss won't negate my pleasure when the sanctions come down. One can feel both.
