I don't wanna see one more sentence about cheating or signs or anything of the sort

We just lost to a make-a-wish QB at home

Time to own our shit
You know - you can do both.

If anything, their win Saturday* showed they didn't need to do it on their end to beat Ohio State. So now, instead of just winning games because of whatever nebulous reason you want to assign to it (voodoo, mysterious curses, etc), they are staring into that particular abyss because they didn't think they could do it within the rules. And fuck them for eternity for it.

Doesn't excuse Saturday. Not in the least.

But it does NOT minimize what they did. not to Ohio State, not to Bama, certainly not to the rest of the Big Ten...

You might as well block me though. I'm still going to mention it. It's still relevant whether we, as fans, care or not.

edited for clarity*

I mean how many of those DL commit to a program that has just fired their head coach and had their rival hang 100 on them ?

The house looks safe from the outside but the foundation is 100k stolen empty pop cans. They may not have needed to cheat to do anything they've done in the last 4 years. Too bad we'll never know

It's hard to say, the cheating definitely was the cause of breaking Day though. Which led to this L.

The damage is already done when it comes to Day being a headcase about scUM, it won't matter for him even if they get nuked into oblivion.

I’m just honestly confused why nationally people are so sure Michigan will be “back” next year? With the rest of their leftover talent leaving, Moore has been questionable all year. The one saving grace for their season was beating us, which, well…. They literally just let Day walk into rake after rake. Did they really do anything special?

Idk. Maybe I’m coping. I don’t see a program that’s about to have another meteoric rise. Doesn’t excuse all of our own issues at the moment obviously and we still have to beat them whether they are good or not. Just wondering why Michigan is seen as just having a blip down year when everything tells me they will be closer to this going forward than the ridiculous buzzsaw natty team we saw last year.

If I could give you guys any silver lining, this probably gave Sherrone two more years at least, he will Juwan Howard that program.

It could. Just like losing to the cheating operation broke him. Winning a couple against a decimated team barred from the post-season might restore that confidence and get them out of his head. Who the hell knows.

They lose a ton and will likely be starting a true freshman at QB but their schedule is very favorable next year. They avoid Oregon and Ped State. Their big OOC is against a stumbling Oklahoma program. Unless teams like Nebraska, Sparty and USC improve they could stumble into 9 wins in 2025. That being said, they would need a all time transfer portal class to be a real serious national player.

The Scum back thing is a tale old as time. I don't know how people equate getting Underwood as being back.

Last week scum fans were proclaiming Moore as not him, and this week he is their savior.

Plus, the sanctions for crying out loud.

Their fan base has been lulled into a false sense of security.

Actually, I am actually happy that they are going with trying to delve into paying players to go there. Finally they will have the soft prima donnas they are so proud to chide the rest of the world about.

A collateral result of this may be Scum getting away from bully ball that has somehow taken over the conscious of our own HC in his never ending quest to finally beat it. Lol

Maybe. I could be totally off base and just coping but that’s just my honest assessment. Guy has looked over his head all year but swept under the rug because they beat OSU (not sure Moore really…. Did anything to cause this?) and he gave $15 mill to a high school kid that is already been booked as the savior.

We’ll see. none of it matters if OSU doesnt figure its own shit out.

Yep. Moore did nothing against Ohio State outside of not completely changing the game plan they've ran all year to a game plan that woulda played right into Ohio State's hands. I guess you can give him credit for being smart enough not to do that but anyone thinking he pulled some master coaching job is kidding themselves. He looked in over his head most of the year, he really did nothing different vs Ohio State besides keep running the same plan they did all year while Day tripped constantly over his own dick.

I think it's becoming more and more clear that the Underwood thing was a 1 time transaction, they aren't going to be able to land enough in the portal to be close to being a serious national player in 2025. Their depth was shot this year it gets even worse next year

9 wins certainly feasible if they get a good portal QB with that schedule. But i’d really hesitate to predict anything better…

I’m sure they would laugh at this assessment and that’s fine. And again at the end of the day we have to beat them. Truth is I have zero confidence in that.

They got bigger problems than QB, they are gonna need to build depth everywhere with more losses after this season.

Losing Grant, Graham and Stewart is going to be killer for them, those guys kept the defense from totally falling off this season.

Even if they stumble into 9 wins it will be more because most of their schedule is just that incompetent, they won't at any point be anyone that anyone takes seriously as a true playoff contender..

What sanctions?
They got a 30 day extension to anwer. Whatever it is, it surely sucks for Scum enough to not accept it.

I am here for the whining from their fan base when this comes to fruition.

Again, if it was nothing, like many of their fans claim, they would have taken it.

The results on the field don't matter either. OSU got nailed to the wall on things that had no role in the success on the field.

Their spring will be miserable.
