While a negotiated resolution of agreed-upon facts and sanctions was possible, UM has elected to take this to a full hearing before the committee on infractions. In this case, sanctions are handed down. Not negotiated.

If there's ever a market for a book titled, "How to Make the Worst Choice Every Step of the Way", these guys would make a killing.

in the most predictable development ever, Johnson and Loveland are sitting.

I enjoy twitter talking about it being injury related, as though he didn't pull him out of the OSU game last year when marv started torching him.
Other than the people who were chugging the kool-aid straight from the spigot under Harbaugh, deep down even players on the current team have to at least be questioning if their successes weren’t built largely on the cheating, and see with that taken away, or at the very least Harbaugh taken away, things are starting to crumble around them.

They also have the shining example of Harbaugh bailing ship at the first sign of trouble to follow in times of turmoil.

May it all equal their toxic team culture returning to the median and being a massive problem for them moving forward.

And may the payment to Underwood contribute to that decent.

I'm surprised Loveland played past whatever game he got hurt in because of Moore's reckless stupidity. Everyone knew they were going nowhere and he had nothing to gain.

I can’t think that they’d dispute the allegations but are more so disputing the punishment?

that or they’re going to go the loophole theory we used to see when this was uncovered. The whole “well Conor himself didn’t go so technically those going to the games weren’t staff members”.

I bet they’re stupid enough to fight the allegations outright though.

I expect they will question the authenticity of the evidence. It sounds like Stallions stole the shared drive with everything on it, but the mole had already given them access or copies, or something along those lines. scUM will try to call into doubt the chain of custody.
