*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Yea i'm worried about this is well. This team has too many tendencies that really play right into scUMs hands. If Day comes out with the timid BS on offense its going to be a long sweat it out type game.
I'm talking about getting something like a 28 point lead midway through the third and then pulling starters. If we can't hold that, we don't deserve to win.

As far as name recognition goes, at this point, the defending national champions trumps any fanbase or talk of alums. There's a reason why a team that anyone with eyes, and a semblance of a pulse on CFB is constantly televised, even though they may barely make a bowl game. Just like, even if the B1G gets some cojones and actually punishes them, the CFP committee will in no way take away their title.

Agree to disagree. They aren't the draw you think they are imo. Every team is televised every week damn near. It's 2024 lol

Recognizing that tCun means “Those Cheaters Up North”.

Although Cunts and Cocksuckers are also allowed.

Yes, but every team isn't playing on major networks weekly. Yes, Purdue is televised... on B1G network or ESPNU, while scUM is still being played on ABC. There's a difference.
And what do you mean "name recognition"? Do you think there are people who know who Michigan is but don't know Ohio State? It only counts when it translates to dollars and half the people watching Michigan every week are buckeyes rooting against them.
By name recognition, I'm talking about the powers at networks. I don't care what fans think. Networks have the option of who they want televised, and name recognition is what keeps defending NC scUM on ABC, Fox and ESPN, without that NC they are probably on ESPNU or Comcast. Anyone watching this year can see that they can't make a forward pass and are exciting as watching paint dry. Yet they still get Big Noon kickoffs and on CBS at 3

The story is what sells. The cheating. Cfb fans want revenge and they want to see Michigan get shellacked. The networks play them because the fans will watch. Shit we drew over 10 mil for a game on peacock lol

You couldn’t get their game with Sparty on tv in Cincy.

Rumored $5 mill for a QB is the stupidest $#it. That is a quarter of their needed budget on a kid who isn't a sure thing.

Most likely the contract is a mill per year for 5 years. Which is normal and gives the appearance of a flex.
If a kid is willing to go to TCUN for any amount given the cloud that is hanging over that program, so be it. It isn't going to matter.

Moore would be awful at scUM, similar situation to what he was throw into as a freshman at UCLA (crappy OL and crappy WR) I don't think the results would be much different.

Let Portnoy pay $5M for a QB who'll never go to the playoffs. Also, how stupid is it to look at that coaching staff and think they'll have you ready for the NFL in three years.
