I'd bet good money on him not making it 1 year, he might not even sign there if the NCAA comes in with sanctions. If he does play next year it won't be pretty. Even if they can build a ok OL through the portal, they aren't convincing any good portal WRs who have NFL aspirations to sign up under coaches who have shown they have no clue about a passing game with a freshman QB.

Are people really actually worried that this is some revival moment for them? They have a coaching staff who has shown they cannot even try to run a passing offense that's not middle school level not to mention they have to buy legit every other position as well with their lack of depth everywhere to even get back to competitive.

If he’s getting a bag, and he’s really that good… it’s a smart move. He’ll have zero expectations there and can make mint while waiting to get to the next level.

In reality, they will start him too early with no help. He’ll flame out and have to live the rest of his life on his NIL bag.

Don’t wish him luck. Poor decisions should be rewarded as such.

Again, I don’t see how they don’t lose everything.

Just too serious what they did to not pay the maximum price. I’m shocked TCUN didn’t self impose a bowl ban but maybe they can’t do that since they aren’t bowl eligible yet lol
My hunch as a long time Ono-ologist (kind of a cross between a Kremlinologist and a proctologist) is that he was waiting to see how the season panned out because there was zero chance that he'd self-impose and alienate himself from his beloved foosball players by costing them a bowl or CFP trip. After all, they might not let him shower with the team anymore. He clearly waited too long since, at best, they're going to the Pop Tarts bowl, and the ncaa knows that it's a completely hollow and cynical gesture.

Can't wait for the same DFBIA who mocked Ohio State for "buying a team" to explain how this is "different" because he actually wants to be there and it's not all just about the money or some stupid shit.
Also, he has a 1500 SAT score and the "world class education" was important to him. This is consistent with the fact that he flipped from...checks notes...LSU.
