I’d just say….
Ohio State took Michigan to the wire, in the Big House, last year.
Nobody really came close to giving Michigan that type of game other than OSU.
Michigan had the oldest team in the P5 by far…..and it paid off. This doesn’t even mention Connor Stalions….
I think the criticism of OSU being finesse is fair yet a bit misguided. I think OSU has shown they can compete across the line, but Michigan has owned them for a few years…..the problem is….Michigan can’t have (7) offensive lineman who average the age of 24 years old going forward…
I just think a lot of context is missed in Michigans championship run. They were the best team in the country, and they won the title. They also had (7) offensive lineman who made NFL rosters at an average age of 23.5. They utilized the Covid rule and won in the trenches….its actually that simple.
