My Stupid Poll:
1. Georgia - They only lost to an elite team in the SEC
Also 1. Alabama - They also only lost to an elite team in the SEC
Also 1. Texas - Undefeated SEC team
Also 1. Tennessee - Only lost to an elite SEC team
Also 1. Vandy - Just defeated an elite SEC team
Also 1. Arkansas - Just defeated an elite SEC team
Also 1. TAMU - Just defeated an elite SEC team
who am I missing?
2. some SEC team that was previously unranked
3. Ohio State - Couldn't think of another team that belonged here
4. *ichigan - they passed the "look test" against Washington. They just happened to not score as much.

Re: who you’re missing — Mizzou - only lost to an elite team in the SEC and Ole Miss - Ditto and Kentucky - defeated an elite SEC team.

Also: good call on that team with the helmets that are winged like a maxi pad. Any team that is Texas’ signature win is obviously top 5

What a joke. UGA ahead of undefeated pedsters and Miami. Six sec schools in the top 10. tcun still ranked (only 2 loss team) at 21. It really is like there is some psychological block on the part of the cfb establishment that just can't cross that Rubicon and admit that all their success was because they rigged the games.

[SEC Fan] This is Bullshit!!! 3 Big Ten teams in the top 5?? We all know that none of these teams would be in the top 5 of the SEC.[/SEC]

And was UGA’s loss to Bama devalued after Bama shit the bed at Vandy? Not really, they stayed at #5 although Oregon and Penn State replaced Bama and Tennessee ahead of them.

And was Texas’s win at tCun devalued due to tCun looking inept on offense once again and losing to an unranked team? Of course not, still #1 after a bye week,

Was LSU’s loss to USC now considered even worse after USC has dropped out of the polls? Of course not.

And as BN27 has already pointed out, we shouldn’t hold our breath for the winner of the #2-vs-#3 matchup this Saturday to jump to #1.

Although I heard this is the first time the B1G has had 3 of the top 4 in the AP poll. It’s worth noting that the Big Eight had the top 3 spots in the final poll for 1971: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado.

Yeah, no bias, and for those who say it doesn't matter, the committee can deny it all they want but they absolutely keep an eye on the polls.

The AP poll actually has tOSU at #4 ahead of UGA, so the B1G has the highest 1-loss team in that poll. And it foolishly has tCun as the second 2-loss team.
