Yeah that's a tough draw for Oregon honestly. Been #1 all season and if they beat PSU, they get winner of OSU/Tennessee and 2 more after to win it. That's rough

This is where the 4 conference byes screws the committee. If you did it based on rankings it would be
8/9 - SMU/Cigs U -> Nike U
7/10 - UT Sherbert/Truck Driver -> UT poor hydration
6/11 - OSU/Bama -> Pedo
5/12 - Gawja Miami -> Domers.
Not sure why the committee doesn’t just rank ASU in 12 if they are gonna be in but this will change based on conf championship games. pedo would likely drop out with only Gawja a chance to move up.

I disagree. I think Ohio State is darned near a lock for the five seed if Texas and Oregon hold chalk.

depends on how much chalk they have left to hold on to. if its close games no change... it'll only change if there is a sizable defeat or other mitigating circumstances (see FSU last year)

I was surprised we were sixth but now I think we can be 5th if Oregon just puts an extra L on Penn State's record.
Lanning working up a #6 on them would be better.

Boise, ASU and SMU are all playing very losable games (biggest spread is Boise -4)
PSU and UGA are dogs and would both likely fall behind OSU if they did.
I wouldn't count out Miami or Ole Miss just yet. Regardless, let's hope for some chaos.

you know exactly how this ends…..Day gets the dream path beating ASU/BSU and upsets Oregon on a neutral field to the final, only to then spit the bit vs the GA/Texas/Notre Dame
