Good ole Brian at mgoblog does. Says “he’s exactly the kind of guy that would pay for this himself… a program clinger… obsessed… etc”
Brians source of income is dependant on this being the case. See below.
55K before taxes, and he's buying mid-A deck 45 yard line seats for Ohio State-vs-ped state...on both sides of the field. That's at least 2K right there. I'd bet that if you added up all the tickets that porn name marine bought along with the airline flights and hotel rooms, it adds up to double his annual salary.
And its only tickets, travel, hotel and expenses If you believe these people were doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. Two people for 30 Big ten games (I mean, maybe not 2 every time, if one of the teams isn't on your schedule for a couple years, maybe you don't bother) then what another 5, 6 non B1G opponents we know about. Lets call it 50 total "observers" in attendance over 2.5 seasons. Even if you have some locals before hand, so maybe half the time you don't have to fly them in, so, let's say 50 tickets at $250 average = 12,500, 25 plane tickets @$400 round trip $10000, 25 hotel rooms @ $200 is 5000, Throw another $2500 in mileage expenses, 75 per diems(some one day and some 2) at $100 per is $7500, then you have to pay them, so I mean, if we really trim it down, call it another 75 for $200 a day is $15000.

So, that's over $50K right there. And that's before Ubers and whatever else I'm not thinking of, airport parking, "dry cleaning services" etc. Also, does he have to ship them all cameras?

This is all BARE minimum and we can imagine a lot of the playoff opponents trips got really really pricey. (the big 10 ones obviously have some more reasonable tickets if you can plan in advance which they did, but Ohio State etc, you are pretty much in the secondary market due to lack of access) So I think double his annual Salary is certainly in range.
Agreed. If Purdue was doing it AND they had the success M*ch*gan has had, I'd absolutely care.
Here's the thing, the likelihood is that Michigan thinks someone did this to them, (and cared) and said, fuck it, we're going whole hog. I can think of a lot of scenarios where this happens in one off situations where, you know you're Iowa, and you've got a guy in Columbus or Detroit that you trust, could you go show up and see what you can find out for us. And there's just rumors like that... but its one offs so its hard to figure out.

Plus, simple Jim paranoia and Wisconsin keeps beating you and not only are they beating you but they seem to know what's coming and it gets worse and worse, and you drink more and more milk, and the walls start to make fun of you and the bearded lady won't stop screaming in your head, and the fairies wear boots...

I cannot think of a scenario however, where they thought this all up on their own...
We were up in arms about Boise St having blue turf. But actual cheating, yeah.....we'd be cool with it. What a fuck.

I dunno if it was the blue Astro Turf of the era or shitty TVs in the late 90's, but that blue was JARRING. It seems a touch less Smurftacular now.

I pose.. is it LEGAL to have a buddy stand behind someone you're playing poker against
who then signals to you what's in his hand?

Ignoring honesty, morals and ethics I guess...

Where's the laptops this kid was using cuz it's gonna be the Hunter laptop of scUM football
Find it and destroy it ASAP else it's gonna cave your football pgm..
and I highly suspect IT nerds are involved... ex military can be great sleuths but no chance he created the necessary algorithms to pull this off on his own

This shit ain’t hard. Someone with a credit card and moderate knowledge of ML/AI could easily develop a simple application in Google Cloud to do this. Getting the video, candidly, would be the difficult part. Apparently they have a solve for that too.

Networks (and thus the B1G) won't allow a death penalty. That being said, I'll settle for nuking the program into irrelevance for a decade or more: bowl bans, scholarship reductions and long show-causes for Harbaugh and the coordinators. Ten years of 4-8 seasons and them watching us get to 1000 first will satiate my bloodlust.
I just want to take the series lead from them in my lifetime.

I think that there’s a few people who have left the program who may have axes to grind. Reno is just one.
I just see the Ferentz connection as being key. Because Ferentz would probably contact a few other B1G coaches and inform them of what he's heard. Everyone gets as much evidence as possible from ticket sales and stadium cameras and then they go to the B1G and ncaa.

Any thoughts on whether Reno Jesus might be the whistleblower? He gets dicked around by Simple Jim's phony QB contest, loses the job and lands at Iowa and then tells Ferentz what's happening at tsun.

if it was him... build that man a statue ... or any of the others who ratted them out

don't even need anything more than a credit card and the web... I'm sure there's a multitude of websites where ML/AI engs freelance for stupid shit like this...

The crazy thing is that they think everyone else is already driving 103 in that 35mph zone. And they've always driven 35 in that zone. And now they're getting called out for driving 40mph in that zone.

And it's a stupid analogy, anyway, unless we're talking about a race. It's a race to get home from work. If you get stopped by police, you're pretty much going to lose, because you're stopped for a period of time. We all speed a little, and usually get away with it - just like football players often get away with holding or pass interference or something. But now, say I tip the police off to where you're going and how fast you're going, and about the drugs and dead hookers in your trunk. They pull you over and don't find the drugs or dead hookers, but the damage is done - I'm home and you lost the race.

Was this site this dumb in 2012 with tattoogate? Maybe I was this dumb. What else compares? Were Houston Astros fans this dumb?
There was a I’m not all in thread discussion during tat gate
