I don't think OSU is behind this, and is the source. I agree with the fellas at THE Podcast, that it was probably a larger entity and there is a certain recently fired coach (cough cough) that may put it all together.

Yea the claims that it's only Ohio State pushing this are hilarious and grasping. It's the WHOLE FUCKING CONFERENCE and the leaker definitely was most likely someone inside or formerly inside of Michigan's program.

Makes sense that they were never allowed to "directly" talk to Harbaugh. That possibly allows for some plausible deniability for Harbaugh if they got caught I guess if you believe Harbaugh is that big of a clueless twat to have all of this going on around him but know nothing about it.
Which is all fine and dandy, but that doesn't make them immune to something like, say, lack of institutional control.

He can have all the "plausible deniability" they want, the guy busted buying hordes of tickets to future opponents' games is on film/video stading in the coaches box right next to Simple Jim and his coordinators with binders and what appear to be sheets with the opposing team's signals on it. A position not typically granted to a low-level analyst in his position.

If you don't want to get busted:
a) don't break the fucking rules regardless of how silly you think them to be
b) be more clandestine about it and don't load tickets up on his personal fucking credit card

They cheated. They know they cheated. They're nervous as hell right now. They know that the best 3 year period in their modern program history is a total sham. They are who we thought they were.

I think another thing many aren’t realizing is this all gets easier as you go too.

Like the first time they played team with stolen signs they probably still had some kind of verification process to be sure they’re good to go.

However the more intel you gather and the more you play someone the easier it gets because you have more intel.

Thats why no one should play this team. They have what they need already. You can take measures etc but they’re going to have a solid grasp on what you’re trying to do regardless.

How long before they start claiming the NCAA has to throw all of this out because Stapleton is on the compliance committee and that's a major "conflict of interest"?
About 8 minutes ago. :slappy:

This shit ain’t hard.
Actually it would be hard.. VERY hard...
There is no off the shelf app or code that can cycle thru video of 4 signalers (vs 1 in baseball) and then match that up to formations using game film to decide which of the 4 is HOT... then cycle thru again to match up A) Hot B) signal and C) formation D) coverage/specific play
Not something a human can do... too many iterations... and no off the shelf app can do that...
Same formation could launch multiple diff coverages and/or multiple diff plays
Conceptually why Vegas blackjack uses 6-8 decks
Now if Stalions is Rain Man...
otherwise there's IT folks involved.. Stalions telling someone what the custom app has to do...
and that laptop or server is gold
cuz that proves everything

Case Solved!

Michigan wasn’t, “sign stealing.” They were, “code cracking.”

THAT’S how this activity should be referenced from now on 100% of the time: “code cracking.”

I thought about this and this is where the Big10 needs to step in. They could place sideline monitors on both sidelines to be fair. No preprinted sheets of binders of information.

They need too step up to insure the integrity of the competition.
