And that's just fine. They can thrive in their little echo chamber while the rest of the country looks down their nose or laughs at them.

I'd dismiss this as more BS if the on-field evidence wasn't so on the nose. How many times did we see them struggle to some 14-7 halftime lead against the Rutgers of the world only to come out and run them like 31-0 after halftime. When I look back on the Game last year, how their D seemed to know what was coming every play, it clicks. There were plays where they had 11 guys right where they needed to be. That wasn't happening in the first half, and that's been a frequent occurrence since 2020.

Yep. Harbaugh stumbled and bumbled for 6 years and now they are expecting us to actually believe that after that COVID year something just suddenly clicked in his head and he became a god tier level halftime adjuster? Yea....No. It all really does make sense.

It's fairly obvious where this is all leading. The NCAA is going to investigate and conclude the Skunkbears cheated.

The university will then feed them this Stalions characters head on a silver platter and claim institutional ignorance.

The NCAA will vacate a handfull of wins and take away a handful of scholarships and Harblow will abandon the now sinking ship for the NFL having never taken any responsibility or accepting any blame.

You can see this coming a mile away...

The third base comment is also the stupidest shit.

They act like Harbaugh didn't inherit a pretty talented roster from Hoke. Hoke was just a shit coach all around and couldn't put it together at all. The way they talk you'd think Harbaugh was inheriting a mess of a program like Nebraska is now or something.
I still can't believe they hired Brady Hoke. Still, to this day.

DickRod was an unmitigated disaster, but I can kind of get the hire on the surface. He was successful at a second-tier program and had an exciting brand of offense. Looking deeper, it was clear to most of us his style wouldn't work at scUM and in the B1G, but on the surface you could see why the hire was made.

Brady Hoke was 47-50 at Ball State and SD State. That was, quite possibly, the dumbest hire ever made by a supposed blue-blood program...fighting with Gerry Faust and ND for the crown.

The issue is the NCAA hasn't associated a punishment with the infraction.

from 11W Forums...

Okay, now there is a bit more information about UM’s sign-stealing. In case you don’t have time to skim through different news outlets, here is what I found. I don't think Harbaugh survives this.

Per ESPN

Per Bleacher Report

Per Scarlet and Game
Per Yahoo Sports
One Big Ten school coach said Michigan used “backdoor” methods to obtain signage information. Word had spread enough that one Big Ten school feared Michigan staff members were in attendance at one of their games earlier in the season capturing signals.

A few weeks later, in the game against the Wolverines, that same team called the game mostly using wristbands. However, some plays were signaled in. On those plays, staff members spotted Stalions either signaling into the game or gesturing to another assistant.

“As soon as we flashed something, he knew it right away,” one coach said. “You go through the film and you start seeing a trend of certain coverages versus run and pass. They’re getting into the best looks you can get into.”

It's finally made e!spn's front page.

Here's what the DFBIA is failing to realize: it isn't just this, the clown is already under investigation, with failure to cooperate (a stick of dynamite) as one of the charges...

Harbaugh already faces NCAA charges of failure to cooperate and head coach responsibility related to recruiting violations committed during the COVID-19 dead period. Another violation by a member of his coaching staff could trigger another charge of head coach responsibility, which could potentially be a Level I violation. According to NCAA bylaw 19.12.5.1: "An institution shall be considered a repeat violator if the Committee on Infractions finds that a Level I or Level II violation has occurred within five years of the starting date of a Level I or Level II penalty stemming from a previous case." Because the NCAA has not ruled on Michigan's Level II violations case, stemming from alleged recruiting infractions during the COVID-19 dead period, the school and potentially Harbaugh could be deemed repeat violators.

The NCAA Committee on Infractions rejected a four-game negotiated suspension for Harbaugh in the recruiting case, and Michigan self-imposed a three-game suspension. With that case still needing to be resolved, an additional head coach responsibility charge based on alleged signal stealing would significantly increase his exposure to additional punishment, including a longer suspension.

The NCAA's committee on infractions would not need to render its decision on the initial case for the repeat violator provision to be enacted. The infractions committee is not expected to make its decision on the first case until 2024.
Additional wrong doing is BAD.

But, here's the thing: the NCAA isn't expected to rule on the first case until sometime in 2024. We know that they move at a glacial pace. Who knows how long it takes until there's any real fallout from this deal. The only way we see any quick action on this is if scUM finds or is confronted with damning evidence and they try to get out in front of this again by self-acting. Being that they've already self-imposed a suspension on Simple Jim, the next logical step, since he's already under investigation, is termination.

I don't know what comes of this NCAA-wise, but with the way the heat's being turned up on him, I just don't see how Simple Jim is the coach there past this year. Honestly, I see him simply "resigning/retiring" following the 2023 season saying he doesn't want to be a distraction.
