It's telling that this isn't just an NCAA investigation, but the B1G as well. I find it hard to believe there isn't something to this.

One thing that makes me kind of wonder is after 2021, OSU should have had some inkling that this was going on and didn't go into the game last year with a completely new signal package. If that is the case, shame on Day and staff. They should always have a completely different signal system for that game every year.

agree but I am reading the between the lines stuff as maybe there is/was an element of, shall we say, signal intelligence being collected
it's the only thing that makes sense as to why this seems so much larger and serious than the usual signs stealing stuff.

AS OSU fans, let's not act like OSU was beating scUM the last 2 yrs. Knowing plays doesn't keep Munford and Co, from getting blown up on the line from the JJ Watt wanna be and the other guy who got injured. And they don't help Cam Martinez from falling on his face or the defense missing assignments and causing a big Edwards run. OSU got their asses beat plain and simple 2 years in a row

Well, several of the articles on the investigation claim some schools were aware "something unusual" was occurring during their games with Scum. This may have been what sparked the initial investigation.
No school was identified in any article I've read yet.
Also, I would assume changing your entire signals is not something that can be done quickly or easily. I would assume it's something teams work on all season. Others with more knowledge in this area may correct me.

That's where the half time adjustments come into play. Scum was probably able back door into what they already knew, and applied it as needed. So there may not have been a total work around for OSU.
