Only they could take that embarrassing response and twist it into something they think is noble and makes them look better than other people. They felt bad for FSU? That bunch lies to themselves like no other. They need embarrassed. Do your thing, Saban.
This would be funny as hell, but I'd be bitter because I'd want Day to beat Hairball in Ann Arbor
The NFL has pretty much said they're going to ignore anything the NCAA does. So he has plenty of time to take an NFL job.He wants to jump before the at least 5-year show cause from the NCAA comes out in a few months, and the NCAA asks the NFL to also honor it. The NCAA should make the request to the NFL now, so he can't be like Pete Carroll.
The NFL literally said the exact opposite of this. The NFL has pretty much said they're going to ignore anything the NCAA does. So he has plenty of time to take an NFL job.
So they said it sideways? The NFL laterally said the exact opposite of this.
NFL likely won't be safe harbor for Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh from potential NCAA discipline
NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report that Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh likely would not be able to avoid any potential NCAA suspensionwww.nfl.com
"The NFL is unlikely to make itself a safe harbor for Harbaugh to escape what could be substantial NCAA discipline, league sources say, raising the strong possibility Harbaugh would need to serve some or all of any possible suspension he could face in college if he returns to the pros."

Agree. If the NFL wanted him they would have taken him in any one of the last few off seasons he has spent offering to suck dick for a job.
True. He's such front office poison that they ran him off after 3 championship game appearances in a row. You have to be pretty toxic to get run with that kind of success. Fucking Ray Lewis was a first ballot hall of famer, and he literally murdered somebody. If the NFL wanted him they would have taken him in any one of the last few off seasons he has spent offering to suck dick for a job.

That's an old article. The Bears and Panthers Re seriously looking. And when week 17 ends, there will be more. The notion that he hasn't gotten a job previously doesn't matter. And not many of those new hires have even made a SB. I'm not a fan of the guy but he's won and I can see him bolting for the NFL
Yes, but there were also years that no NFL team wanted Urban Meyer because he was considered just a college coach. Many NFL GMs were proven correct after Jax, but he still eventually got a chance when many thought it'd never happen.Well, it's his only hope, that's for sure. You're making essentially the same argument my buddy makes... hey, you may well be right, I've seen GMs draft enough guys who can't actually play football that well, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if some team took the bait (I always do concede the Raiders can't be counted on not to do something stupid)... I just don't see it myself.. no one wanted him before this baggage, I don't see how it helps now.
I didn't see anything in your link saying the NFL wouldn't enforce a suspension issued by the NCAA, just that he has potential suitors...
Also this from that SI article... (not directed towards you, pnuts) "...dominant nine-year reign..." Dominant? Reign?
