Interesting spot scUM is in... they lose a ton due to graduation... so the portal is key
but if they tip their hand of what positions they are looking at, that will cause addl scUM players to hit the portal...
would assume best portal players are off the board shortly after Dec 20 signing before scUM can really engage
meanwhile fully expect NCAA to hammer the number of schollies they have in 2024/2025

and then to get beat by Bama couple weeks later...
then forfeit every game for last 3 years.. and Hairball has to leave... along with the coordinators...
sucks to be scUM.. fuck 'em
They'll still win the MAC

The portal has gotten as expensive as recruiting high level recruits. The players everybody wants, know their value, and will want big up front money. I think what they considered an advantage is now going to be as big of an issue for them as it has with been with their recruiting.

Plus, every program is in on the game now. Everybody is relying on it. So, Scum is no longer as ahead of the curve as they once were on the portal.

Wondering if the coordinators get spared, even though they are the coaches that got the biggest advantage from the signal stuff.
