It was filed in Washtenaw County Court and being heard by a Washtenaw County Judge.......not Federal. The hearing is at the Washtenaw County Courthouse in AA. There was talk over the weekend that the B1G would possibly try to get it removed to Federal Court. The Eastern Federal District Court for Michigan is in Detroit. There was some discussion with some of our legal eagles earlier in the thread about whether that is possible or not.

Cause they likely think they have a better chance of winning with UM judges which is probably something like 90% of the judges in the same county as AA lol

if you reside in state A, and a company headquartered in state B has commercial activity in state A, you can sue that company in a state court in state A. It doesn’t have to be a Federal Court.
