So MGO is apparently just ignoring that Harbaugh is still flirting with Denver post Ono announcement. Which means the angst will be 10x higher goes

"THEY NEVER OFFERED HIM THE JOB OFFICIALLY SO HE WAS DOING NO FLIRTING" - actual DFBIA logic on this.

They've cornered the market on mental gymnastics as to how Harbaugh "HAS NEVER BROKE HIS PROMISE!" that he would never consider the NFL again.

I'm not sure what would be more funny - him leaving after pledging he had no interest or him doing this same song and dance again next January.

I think after this year he actually will leave , I take him as the type that sees what is ahead after the big losses they will take after the 2023 season and that COVID train really finally ending, he will bail because of that. 2024 is going to be hard for them unless they hit a bunch of absolute HRs in recruiting and the transfer portal.

Then again if no NFL team is willing to deal with him, he's stuck back at scUM again. Unless he just straight up hangs it up.

I don’t think there’s an NFL team interested at this point. He has few FO NFL allies at this point. He is scUM’s present and future. And regardless of his constant off season flirting, they know they can’t do better. No way do they want to go back to the years pre-Hairball

He'll never give up on the NFL.

He lost two NFC Championships on the final play to the teams that ended up winning Superbowls.

He was a dropped TD away from going to a Superbowl as a player.

He was seven yards away from actually getting one, only to lose to his brother of all people.

That would eat at anyone. Guaranteed he thinks he should have won three in a row and be thought of as one of the greatest coaches of all time. The desperation to get back in the league makes perfect sense.

I'm kinda surprised given how competitive with his brother he is. Other coaches aren't needling him about getting coaches from his bother. You know that would make him go off.

They also were pushing the nonsense that he turned down a firm offer from Denver to stay at tsun, which is horseshit. He expected to be coronated over the phone and when Denver said that they had a process that they were going to work through, he got in a huff, took his baseball and ran back to JuggalOno. The moment that Denver said "Simple Jim, we'd like to have a face to face interview with you," he was back in play. DFBIA may not be able to see it, but I guarantee you that prospects, their parents and their high school coaches are seeing things quite clearly.

The funniest thing will be if someone from the Vikings or Broncos one day comes out and admits that, "hey, we never were interested in him, but we just wanted to yank him around a bit for being such a jerk." That this was all a goof on the part of some NFL front office people.

Or he thinks his baseball might be somewhere in an NFL stadium.

DFBIA really had their hopes up that 5* ATH Nyckoles Harbor was going to pick them.

That hope comes crashing down today.

CBs coming in are all for either Oregon or South Carolina. Whitfong just gave one about 5 minutes ago for South Carolina

whiffffffffffff

The classic "BUT SAM WEBB SAYS!"

Apparently South Carolina is the leader (South Carolina.... ‍♀️).

There isn't really any solid proof of this. The only crystal balls in are from 2 SC insiders. If you take Harbor by his word, SC isn't the best for literally any of his determining factors. As I mentioned in another thread, Sam Webb and Brice Marich said on Friday that they think it's 60/40 for Michigan versus the field right now. Both his track coach and mom want him to go Michigan. I think the biggest threat here is Oregon, but this is one of those recruitments where I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up at any of Michigan, Oregon, SC, or Maryland because frankly it doesn't seem like Harbor even really knows what he wants

These rubes never learn.
