I mean ...I guess that turd from Florida looks like he's going in the first round. So it's possible JJ is a first round QB. He's not first round talent, though.

*shrugs*

I'm gonna assume the guys from PFF are not just big time Michigan homers but YMMV. One of them literally said "has #1 pick written all over him" in October of 22. Opinions are like buttholes...

Edit: to be clear, I mean *everyone's* opinion. I thought Sam Howell was in play for the #1 pick this year going into last season. He went in the 5th round. I literally sat in a room with an ACTUAL NFL scout who told me "Devin Gardner might be a 1st round QB" once; he was a UDFA for the Patriots. I think this far out, we're all just guessing. But I mean how good do you REALLY have to be, to be "better than Jake Rudock?" Cause that's the bar here in terms of Michigan's best QB under Harbaugh.

They also have Will Levis as the 3rd best player on their Draft board in front of Will Anderson and CJ Stroud. So yeah....

Now I could see him getting high marks for big and big arm and short to mid accuracy. But unless he takes a hell of a step forward I wouldn't call him a 1st round draft pick. But he certainly has the tools to be one and he's going to be your chance so far under Harbaugh of a future NFL starter and yes he's better than Rudock

He's a 6'3" kid who runs a 4.5 and can throw the ball 60 yards on a rope; even if he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn he'd get *some* scouting buzz.

I'm not gonna waste time arguing a hypothetical; the whole point here is Harbaugh figures this is his best team. Whether it is or not I can't say because I'm not a psychic, just a sociopath who cares way too much about the athletic exploits of 20 year old kids who wear a particular set of matching laundry.

Edit: like people INSIDE the program, are saying he's a first round pick. We don't think he's staying for a fourth year either. This is it. This year. Or at least that's the mumbles coming out of insiders, recruiting muppets, and folks loosely connected to the program. Maybe they're delusional, I dunno, but I have a real hard time believing everyone in the program doesn't know "Ronnie Bell's Brother; Starting QB" is going to be a total crapshow and get people fired. So there is a sense of urgency here.

Following multiple incidents last season, Michigan is removing about 45 seats from Michigan Stadium in order to widen access to the tunnel where players enter and exit the field.

According to a report by MLive, Michigan will permanently remove a “moveable sliver of seats” on the south side of the tunnel to “give players, coaches and staff additional space to pass through the mouth of the tunnel without incident.” The decision came after a “thorough safety review” by athletic department officials following the 2022 season.

Per the report, “the decision directly stems from an incident that occurred during Michigan’s Oct. 29 win over in-state rival Michigan State, when a spectator on the north side of the tunnel reached down and came in physical contact with MSU coach Mel Tucker, touching his head.” After that same game, a brawl erupted inside the tunnel that led to criminal assault charges against seven Michigan State players.

Per the report, Michigan will add standing-room-only seats elsewhere in Michigan Stadium to maintain its listed capacity of 107,601.....:roll1:

Real question is who's dumbass thought narrowing an existing tunnel for a whopping 45 seats was a good thing

wunderkids at tsun school of engineering... making a converging nozzle heading into the tunnel (which presumably is still the same width)... it'll prove how smart they are.

was les nessman a tsun grad?

*chain smoking in front of a mad wall with pictures of Matt Weiss, the martyred 45 tunnel seats, and Blake Corum's stolen Camaro, with dozens of multi-colored strings connecting them*

"So as you can see, this is all Brady Hoke's fault."

(No seriously tho, can we do the offseason already? I'm getting a little shell shocked here.)

Michigan running back Blake Corum said Tuesday that his camouflage-wrapped Chevy Camaro was stolen earlier this month in Ann Arbor. The vehicle, which featured his BC2 logo, was stolen from a parking garage between Jan. 13 and Jan. 16, according to Ann Arbor Police Department records.

“Wasn’t NIL funded, my parents used their hard earned money to bless me with something nice after I graduated high school,” Corum wrote. “God bless whoever stole it”

That's not what I'd be saying.....
