I mean I think it’s likely they get hit fairly decent but a few days ago I was feeling awful good about a multiple year punishment kind of thing.

Can see them doing something dumb like fining them 500k and suspending the three (again) for another 3 games.
Which will lead to the DFBIA claiming they broke the NCAA and changed football for the better.

The reason I believe the B1G will take action sooner rather than later is you have 13 university presidents (or chancellors or whatever title), ADs, head coaches, etc. who were directly affected by the actions of 1 unscrupulous, rogue (or should I say rouge?) institution.
This is the one rumor that I guarantee you is 100% accurate. You've got a host of new members next year. What the hell will they think if you just let this go the slow burn route.

Let's hope. Also, there's a lot of smoke that he was also fucking with SEC and ACC teams too. Who is going to be comfortable playing these guys in the cfp?

I know most of us want swift justice in this case but it is still very early on. I liken it to a police investigation where they ask the question, "Do we have enough evidence to arrest him?" The answer is yes. But a more important question must also be asked, "Do we have enough evidence to convict him?" Sometimes the answer is "Not yet. Let's continue to gather evidence and make sure we dot every I and cross every T before we take it to court."

Methinks that's where we might be at right now.

The Big Ten has to consider legal action taken by Michigan and their anyone who could be punished. They need to make sure they have enough evidence that would hold up in civil court if their decision causes multimillion dollar damages to a conference instituting and is employees. Mid-season without a completed investigation makes it tough on them, and we don't know what if any evidence exists about practice footage.

“You just have to let it play out, ... Cooperate with the investigation and see how it plays out. Too much of a one-track mind with the team to engage with all the speculation.”

Dude, at this point cooperation just means coming clean and fessing up
