The NCAA can’t do anything fast in this situation (or any other). In this case, it isn’t just Michigan that cheated. South Carolina knowingly accepted illegal information. The NCAA needs to figure out how to punish everyone. It is up to the BIG, the University and the FBI.
I'm starting to think that the BIG 10 is playing it safe and waiting to see if this season will "take care of itself" before they hand down anything. If SCUM loses at Penn State, or if they lose at home to OSU then there are no championships to worry about vacating later on. If this is their chosen approach (and the Skunk Bears beat both Penn State and OSU) then the BIG 10 can literally hand down a suspension (or vacate a few wins) on Saturday November 25th at 5:00 p.m. and give the BIG 10 East Champ enough time to prepare. Would it look "petty"? Perhaps, but I'm guessing no one will care considering how Michigan has disrespected BIG 10 authority by stonewalling any investigation as well as sending their "minion" reporters out to flood the fanbase with garbage.

That’d be very dangerous.

If this is all true I don’t know how the last 3 seasons aren’t vacated. If that’s the case, boy waiting for Michigan to bounce Ohio State (because they likely will I think) only to knock them from the playoffs too would be twice as bad.

I’m convinced now that they likely won’t do anything but IMO that’s the wrong move considering everything is going to get vacated anyways.

Seriously, the big ten also needs to think of the playoffs too. What if more shit drops after they make the playoffs? They can’t switch everything up and put someone else in there last minute.

There’s money at play I get it but the money impact goes further than just the big ten. They need to step up and do something now.

Remember the significant difference between vacating and forfeiting, I want the B1G this week to make them forfeit the first 4 conference games of this season, so they have 4 losses in the standings (takes care of the CCG) and 4 losses for the CFP to see. If they have solid evidence of Stalions standing next to the coordinators on the sidelines with the opposition’s hand signals on a preprinted chart for each of those games, that should be enough to decide on making them forfeit those 4 games.

I can wait until the NCAA is done before the decisions are made on 2021 and 2022, but I’m looking for forfeits there also.

The longer this goes, the more I'm thinking nothing will happen until after the season. This is the easiest way out for both the NCAA and the Big Ten - they don't have to break down one of the bigger "brands", it keeps the TV networks happy and the lazy fucks at the NCAA don't have to go fast.

Quite honestly, I have a sinking feeling the NCAA and the Big Ten are going to let the off the hook too. No particular reason, just a hunch.

IMO it all hinges on the practice videos. If that is real and comes out everything changes.

As interesting as that post is though, it really reads like fanfic. The source is an anonymous poster from another board? And anything from "The Oracle" ( another of Nevadabuck/ Ken Stickney's aliases) is pretty hard to take seriously.

That poster claims he is NOT that Oracle, but who knows.

If you read all of his post he does seem to be an actual journalist, which is as far away from Ken Stickney as you can get. But again who knows.

I could be wrong but with as much $$$ as the Big Ten stands to lose, I just don't see it happening anymore. And the NCAA moves glacially. Harbaugh will resign at the end of the season (no matter the outcome) and it'll all get swept under the rug.

Water finds its own level and bureaucracies like the Big Ten and NCAA will take the path of least resistance whenever possible. Short of a 2020-like outrage from member institutions (with the COVID cancellations), and that isn't going to occur this time, I just don't see them doing anything despite all the shit that was found.

I'll be happily wrong though.

I mean if this is all true they’ll have to give them something but yeah growing concerned that they’ll get off the hook relatively light

The thing we have going for them actually making a decision is Tony Pettiti was involved in the whole Astros scandal decision making while at the MLB supposedly
