I get that the NCAA has to wait a certain time to bring down any punishments. The Big Ten doesn't have the same restrictions, but they may need to do a thorough investigation, as well.

Is there any restriction on the playoff committee to ensure that M*ch*gan doesn't get ranked any better than 5th?

I still think they need to be restricted from winning things that are likely to be vacated later.

I feel the NCAA is in Ann Arbor to do the investigation and then hand off the findings to the Big Ten to enforce punishments quicker than they can do it through the NCAA's process.

The playoff committee can do anything it wants. If they feel that Michigan gained an unfair advantage in the games it won this year then they can put them wherever they want. If they have two teams with similar records then they can put whoever they think is more deserving. Like in 2014 when TCU was ranked 3rd before the final rankings but as knocked out of the playoffs by the committee who thought Ohio State was more deserving.

So yeah. This is going to get worse. Story about to drop about OSU’s cloud server being hacked by account traced back to Michigan Football to view their practice videos from last year. Rumors about this have been out there, but this story is dropping tomorrow.

And that’s how this whole investigation started about 10 months ago.

I can't find it now, but isn't there a Tweet out there saying a big news drop is happening today?

Is it too much to ask for another juicy turd to fall on their heads in today's news cycle?
Let's hope the scUM poster Jake is citing is right.

We need to keep a daily count like it’s an OTB.

Pretty sure current card is:
1. Weiss -FBI
2. Burgergate-NCAA
3. Conner Thee Stallion- NCAA and B1G

I’m sure our bookies can make a trifecta bet out of that somehow.

I like the three horse but the two horse is my bet to show no matter what.

That’s the one the NCAA took extra time to tell the world “it’s not about a cheeseburger”

If Weiss was acting under directions Jim to possibly hack other schools computers, then an NCAA ban is the least of his problems. The FBI will go up the ladder and start squeezing the buffers until they rat out Jim. If Jim hasn't lawyered up yet, he should.
