Eisen is definitely more interested in how the information is being obtained than what the information itself shows. "How did you find out that I was cheating on my wife?"
Not only that but he actually said with a straight face that JJ McCarthy has a real chance to win the Heisman “without all of this”. I don’t think I’ve ever rolled my eyes harder than when I heard that shit.

Gonna sprinkle a little football in here. Supposedly Spin-pass is now the leading candidate for the Heisman?

He’s second in passing efficiency, which is fine, but he’s only tied for 20th in points responsible for per game, and he’s 47th in passing yards per game.

And does it seem likely that the sign-stealing squad didn’t bother with Bowling Green this year? Because he threw 3 picks against BG. Similar to TCU last season, where he threw two pick-6s.

I’m looking forward to him being brought back to some harsh reality at Penn State. And of course in The Game.

It’s possible they are related in that after the Weiss firing, scUM hired a firm to look at lots of things. Since what they found is not a criminal matter, it technically has nothing to do with Weiss case. But it’s what started the ball in motion. Obviously these are NCAA violations so law enforcement would not be involved or know anything about it
It also answers the question as to why "some third party firm" or whatever was looking into the computers inside the football program.

I mean--god damn--could this have gone down any better. They think Simple Jim has finally turned it around amd are headed to their third playoff in a row. And then boom, like hit by a lightening bolt from Mount Olympus, it all is lying in ruins mid-season. What a fucking cosmic nut punch.
I am particularly fond of the "they're taking a championship away from scUM" It's week 8. They haven't won shit yet.

Pay attention to the wording. The Weiss investigation in and of itself has nothing to do with this. That doesn't mean some of this stuff wasn't found DURING that investigation and turned over to the NCAA/B1G.

Bingo.

See. @heisman and I were (probably) both right. There was something more nefarious and Jeff Epstein shit (allegedly). I hate when my bad jokes turn out to be real. (Seriously it happens too often)

I guess maybe Harbaugh never directly communicated with Stallions, like that SI piece claims he said in those leaked texts. But Harbaugh sure as hell knows who he is. There's no way a head coach is letting his coordinators take advice from a random staffer if he has no clue what is going on.
I'm pretty sure there is pictures of him talking to him on the sideline. As soon as he uttered that if I were the NCAA. Be like enjoy your sanctions moron

You think this is more corrupt than recruiting players who had used all of their eligibility from schools who were (at that time) the best football programs in the country, paying them to come to your school, and playing under assumed names? I don't know, the current scandal may not quite reach that level. Then again, if what is coming out is true (and I believe at least the majority of it is) then it would allow the same university to have the 2 biggest scandals of all time. For more info, contact BB, I believe he is the only one on here who witnessed the other scandal first hand.
Yes hands down.

Those players had to go play and they did and they won a lot but they didn’t win anything important.

This is putting the thumb on the scale of competition. This is game fixing.

It's a very weak year for Heisman prospects. Their golden boy Williams and USC have tanked into nationally relevant obscurity already.

Even then Penix and Dillion Gabriel should be quite a bit ahead of Spin Pass Jesus if we are only talking QBs on the undefeated teams. There aren't really any great RB candidates this year at all.
