My guess is this…

Weiss was accessing someone’s computer across state lines so let’s say it was an OSU coach or a Penn State coach.

It was caught and reported. Weiss is then fired and his place was raided.

While the police were investigating the hard drive they noticed all of these things and handed it over to a law firm which then provided it to the NCAA etc.

Is there any way this Weiss stuff has nothing to do with all this new shit from the last week? Would be a pretty incredible coincidence. Those "computer crimes" appear they may be much much more serious than DFBIA shrugged them off as.

So, three different and active investigations going on regarding Xichigan's football staff / program involving the Xichigan police Department, FBI, NCCA and BIG Ten. Nothing burger for sure.

Am I completely crazy to think this internal review may have been part of michigan's due diligence with his contract negotiations/discussions? If he was supposed to be getting the biggest contract of any B10 coach and no one wanting to end up on the MSU route, I could see the extensive and deep review of every stone and skeleton for Jimmuh and his program.

The issue I have with this being TSUN doing it to themselves is how the information is being leaked. It’s an orchestrated drip of information. And they are being interviewed as opposed to them going to the B1G and NCAA and turning themselves in. I can’t reconcile internal audit findings with how everything else is going down.

Internal audit is the most reasonable thing that I can think up, but if it was internal, whoever wrote the check owns the information that is being provided to the NCAA and B1G… and there’s no way if internal, it would be handled like this in the public’s line of sight.

So yeah. This is going to get worse. Story about to drop about OSU’s cloud server being hacked by account traced back to Michigan Football to view their practice videos from last year. Rumors about this have been out there, but this story is dropping tomorrow.

And that’s how this whole investigation started about 10 months ago.

I think this snow balled and once it got rolling everyone that investigates wanted a swing to be the ones who broke it wide open.

This is unraveling a ball of yarn one strand at a time and frankly is how investigations go.

But it wouldn’t surprise me if someone/something is doing this on purpose to cause maximum pain. But fuck them they did this to themselves and put themselves in this situation.
