I’m just so confused on all of this. All I know is “lack of institutional control” would be an understatement.

Everyday at 4pm something rolls out and it’s like “wtf!”.

All I know is the NCAA is moving lightning quick as they should. Because as I said this is the biggest coordinated effort to cheat that sports has ever seen. Ever.

Not just football but any sport.

The level of desperation to win is staggering.

It's a very weak year for Heisman prospects. Their golden boy Williams and USC have tanked into nationally relevant obscurity already.

Even then Penix and Dillion Gabriel should be quite a bit ahead of Spin Pass Jesus if we are only talking QBs on the undefeated teams. There aren't really any great RB candidates this year at all.
Nobody is voting spin pass first on their ballot if they think his stats are based on cheating.

Can’t be kiddie porn can it? I feel like there is no way this guy is free without charges teb months later. Don’t need that long to get enough evidence to put him in jail. Even if you are investigating some larger ring you’d charge him with enough to lock him up

It could be, sometimes they let these investigations drag out instead of throwing the person in jail right away because they might be able to collect more intel. Especially if they believe a larger ring is involved, don't wanna tip everyone else off by arresting someone too quick.

Same as it ever was.

Not to change the subject, but the movie "Stop Making Sense" is fire.

That I am very familiar with. Seems unlikely here though right? Seeing as both:

-The guy knoes he is caught, and
-He was very publicly fired

When the feds are building a case, the criminals are blissfully unaware usually.

This feels like something much more sophisticated and the feds are making sure they have all of their ducks in a row before charging him

True. I guess it could be some sort of financial crimes or fraud crimes as well, that makes sense with the "victims across multiple state lines". Either way its a very bad look.
