Actually it would be hard.. VERY hard...
There is no off the shelf app or code that can cycle thru video of 4 signalers (vs 1 in baseball) and then match that up to formations using game film to decide which of the 4 is HOT... then cycle thru again to match up A) Hot B) signal and C) formation D) coverage/specific play
Not something a human can do... too many iterations... and no off the shelf app can do that...
Same formation could launch multiple diff coverages and/or multiple diff plays
Conceptually why Vegas blackjack uses 6-8 decks
Now if Stalions is Rain Man...
otherwise there's IT folks involved.. Stalions telling someone what the custom app has to do...
and that laptop or server is gold
cuz that proves everything

I disagree. I use those tools all the time. You would separate the video for the four signals to start and then build a model for each as well as one for who is hot. Easy, maybe not… and you’re right, figuring out who is hot is probably the most difficult task once you have the footage.

Absolutely, someone with knowledge of the tools of the trade are involved. I don’t think that we generally like to be referred to as “IT” though. LOL.

I mean we did get Michigan Manifesto which feels like will live on for many years to come as a meme about the program.

In addition, we did get fuckboi Marine openly admitting to committing prior fraud with the Navy admissions office. So he has a predisposition to coloring outside of the lines.

Plus I saw somewhere that the NCAA is wheels down in Ann Arbor tomorrow, so that should be fun for them.

Oh boy I missed that too

Stalions graduated from the Naval Academy in 2017. During his time in Annapolis, he worked as a student assistant with the football team (curiously, this includes an overlap with the time his LinkedIn reportedly says he volunteered for Michigan). In the course of his conversation with the Power 5 student, which extended over about three weeks, Stalions would claim that shortly after graduation, he obtained a decade’s worth of high school national standardized test scores and GPAs for approximately 500 Midshipmen football players—data that he should not have been allowed to possess. He claimed that he simply went to the Naval Academy’s admissions office and “name dropped” coach Ken Niumatalolo. While he said the admissions office told him to delete the data the following day, Stalions was coy over whether he had and made clear that he used the data to inform his recruiting philosophy.

The Naval Academy neither confirmed nor denied that it had shared the data with Stalions.

“Individual data obtained through the Naval Academy admissions process, to include high school test scores and GPAs, is protected under the Privacy Act and not shared or made available outside the Office of Admissions,” a U.S, Naval Academy public affairs officer wrote in a statement to SI. “Any Naval Academy official who inappropriately accessed that data would be subject to criminal and civil penalties associated with the Privacy Act.”

If true Stallions could be in for a address change

@sparcboxbuck did it.. he's the one that stole signals for scUM

PS I was IT before IT was a term... when I was hired as a programmer for Goodyear I had never even seen a computer before except a picture in my Management class... I was COBOL and IMS... then had to teach myself Fortran, machine language, RPG from IBM manuals.. literally brought in 1st PCs into Gdyr, first intranet, first extranet, and first corp website Goodyear.com (full page ad in Wall Street Journal), first to bringing in word processing and speadsheets, brought Microsoft Office into there... EVERY step immense push back.. People literally retired days before I brought in Word and Excel.

Isn't there a five year commitment for academy grads (longer I believe if they're taught to fly)? How does Sergeant Stallone graduate in 2017 and end up on the sideline up North by 2021? Was he such a fuck up that they didn't even make him serve out his commitment?
