I respect his decision. The NFL isn't going anywhere and if he loves college stay there. Age comes at you in a freaking hurry so enjoy every minute you can of being young. A lot of the fun of the game changes when it becomes a job. Makes it tougher on us for sure

Age at comes you fast; so does eleventy billion NFL dollars. Take the latter when you can.

Yep. NIL can make a difference for some guys. See 5th round or below athletically limited little upside players. Those usually stick around the full time anyways cause they know their pro prospects are limited. But at least they make life changing money enjoying college that way.

Also can make a difference for high upside players who are low picks but go anyways before they are ready cause money.

He is neither. This feels like an emotional decision rather than a thought out one.
The nil money could shrink between now and next season. Colleges don’t like boosters running their show. Those who don’t enter could get burned.

Ok we should have beat the 2022 Wolverweenies
Not with our secondary.

I don't think our secondary was the problem. Sure, they were the weak spot on that defense, but that game turned on two plays: the fourth down attempt by Ohio State that Cade Stover almost caught (I still think it should have been pass interference) and the long pass into the endzone by *ichigan (which I still think was uncatchable, and pass interference should not have been called). After that, it was all long runs by *ichigan that Ohio State was unable to stop.

I think Ohio State was the better team in every game they played all year, including the two losses. Step up and win those games.

And to get this back on topic, Fuck *ichigan!

I'll take it a step further...it speaks to the vile evil that is the tsun program that their, very fucking brief, reemergence from a 20+ year slumber is directly correlated to a world wide pandemic that killed millions and disrupted societies across the globe.

The worst thing that's happened to the world in nearly 100 years benefits your program. What further signs do you need to see the direct alignment with satan himself?

Fuck *ichigan.

From 1950s to now, that half NC Cooper handed them in the 90s was their only relevance.
The time before that, it was WWII and being one of a very few Navy ROTC programs that got them onto then national stage.
And before that it was shenanigans around WWI.

Michigan is literally* a harbinger of doom.

*as in literally literally.

And that's the GOOD one; lord help you if you end up on The Victors or the 247 board.

To be fair, any of the corporate boards - regardless of team/school - are bottomless pits.

There's always the ESPN boards. (inside joke)

Espn boards were my jame back around 2004-2007ish.
When RichRod was still at WVU, and all the BigEasy crybabies were convinced they weren't given enough respect on the national stage. Same vibes as illinikid "just wait, Louisville or Rutgers will win the NC".
Really fast and winged helmet!!! Wow!!1!11!!

That winged helmet design adds at least 5hp. Just ask delaware state.

"His growing frustration with college football"
aka looming NCAA sanctions
So, can we now substitute a dollar sign in their name, like they do with OSU, just as a show of solidarity?

T$UN?
$cUM?
The Leader$ and the Be$t?

Short it to oblivion

These people are the definition of Insufferable.
"I'm not comparing the two BUT...."

Obligatory

And if true, it was a direct violation of his contract and should trigger a firing with cause. Of course, we know that tsun won't do that. If they do fire him, it'll be some serious holier-than-thou, LOOK AT US pr move over burgergate.

What I'm interested in is how juggalono will handle this. At UC, he absolutely tried to tie the athletic department to his own personal brand and use the former to promote the latter. He truly was a poor man's Gordon Gee in that sense. I'll be interested in how he responds.

It's kins of hilarious, actually.
A few years ago they would have loved loved this excuse to fire with cause.
But now... the silver lining of us losing (if there could be such a thing) is that they can't fire him.
