I thought the same thing in 2007 when I saw that Michigan would open with Appy State and then Oregon at home. Maybe the rams can cook up a #6 for opening day.

Oregon was a pretty consistent top-25 program at the time. They were no pushover. But no decent team would let them push their shit in the way scUM did that day.

Ha - that was a great year - at least the beginning of it. *ichigan didn't start to turn their season around until they played Notre Dame. Notre Dame that year, at least for most of it, had more punting yards than offensive yards. (Someone here was keeping track, and if the offensive yards ever passed punting yards, it would have been toward the end of the year.)
*ichigan comically lost those two games, and then went on to win 8 in a row. Then they lost to Wisconsin and Ohio State, when Ohio State tried to do everything they could to give the game to those Blue Goobers.
