2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

precisely what I was thinking both times I watched them play Oregon
seemed to do the same things scUM did to us.. that were successful
Then there was SParty so who the fuck knows. and Karlofas didn't do shit either.. I'm not sure it's systemic problem from the lines vs inconsistency. The offensiveline had 3 bad games Nebraska, Penn State, and Michigan. 4 if you want to call being unable to convert yards into points a offinsiveline problem at oregon and not Stroud being young and hurt.

Dline had more games they didn't show up so who knows.

On a nice day with no wind or snow, and I can see an OSU team resembling the one against MSU and not scUM. Offense can be more effective in good weather. Just need to get up fast and force Utah's offense's hand.

It's the exact same prognosis as every other game this year.

If the offense gets going and can generate a big lead to protect the defense, OSU likely wins big.

If they cannot, the 2 TE, run first offense of our opponent is going to do it's thing and we'll be in a dog fight if not take an ass beating.

It's all or nothing.

I actually think Utah is better than Michigan to be honest. Their offense is more versatile while being equally physical. They just gave their season away at beginning of year while finding identity. I think Utah would beat Michigan and Cincinnati….they’re really good.

Kind of a double edged sword here…..would be a great win and momentum builder heading into off-season but I think Utah can easily give us hell if we don’t come to play. Utah doesn’t fuck around….they’re gonna come ready to make a statement.

As an FYI, Utah now has the most players in the NFL of any Pac 12 team. Also of note, one of the best players in Utah’s secondary is Clark Phillips III….damn, it’d be nice if he was on the good guys. Was a bit surprising to see OSU lose a kid to Utah in a battle, but it certainly looks like Phillips made the right call based on how he’s playing.

I think TTUN is better than people realize. If you watched the sparty game you would know how badly they just gave that game away. They are on a normal day 3tds better than sparty imo. So they could easily be a undefeated bigten champ that beat OSU by 3 scores and won the bigger championship by 39....

That's said Utah will come at us like savages and try and knock us out early... we better see some fucking grit or I want younger guys in that will.

They are up with tsun, Penn State and Nebraska in every defensive category that you need to slow this OSU offense down.

They are better than tsun in yards per rushing attempt. The only thing they aren't as good at (statistically) is passing. They are way down around #74 in yards per attempt and #82 in yards per completion.

Won't make a fuck bit of difference if they are getting 7 yards a carry but we've got the fact that they aren't a good passing team going for us. Which is nice.
