2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

I don’t care how many Buckeyes sit out. This is a must-win game, imo. It’s the first step in the rebuild for next year and a chance to regain some momentum heading into the offseason. CJ Stroud will be back home in SoCal. I want to see him put on a show. And the D needs to play with a chip on their shoulder. Don’t get out-toughed two games in a row.

Has a Buckeye opted out of the Rose Bowl before?

Has any player from any team?

Utah plays angry on both sides of line. Insanely physical in run game rely on former Ohio High school star Tavion Thomas at RB (and he’s been a stud).

Since inserting Cameron Rising at QB, Utah is now 9-1 (after starting year in a rut using Baylor transfer QB Charlie Brewer).

I’ll be honest, I don’t think this is a very good match up for Bucks although it will definitely test their soul after Michigan laid it bare.

Will be curious to see the line…..I think the Utes will likely present a lot of value for the sharps.
